Is there a way to organize bookmarks?
I have several hundred that were synched in to the mobile browser without their original desktop categories.

Sounds like you have Firefox Sync set up. You can organize the bookmarks on desktop Firefox. If you don't see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-set-up-firefox-sync
