When I click on 'List All Tabs', a menu is presented with all the open tabs.

I'm looking for a userchrome.css script that would add a Tab Close button next to each tab displayed therein. Ideally, the button should appear when one hovers over a particular tab within the drop down List All Tabs display.

Is this possible with just userchrome.css script?

One solution was the addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/419210/ But this appears to use lots of RAM; and the has other features which I don't require.

It is not possible to add such features via CSS code in a file like userChrome.css. You need JavaScript to achieve this and only an extension is able to do this.

Maye create your own extension if you think that the All Tabs Helper extension has too many unneeded features. An extension's XPI file is a ZIP archive and you can inspect the All Tabs Helper code to see what you need for your purpose.

Thanks @cor-el for the advice!

I will look at the All Tab Helper's XPI and edit it.
