On my PC's Firefox wont connect to my work servers"DQS Worldwide". I have tried to connect to,"auditcenter.dqsus.com". The page times out and wont connect. It works with Opera and Yandex but not fire fox. I have tried to connect in Michigan,California and Europe. Can you fix this issue so that I can connect to "auditcenter.dqsus.com" and use Firefox. There are login pages that have saved usernames I want to clear but am unable to. I have gone to settings. Under passwords I have everything unchecked. I have examined "Saved passwords" and it is showing "No passwords saved". I have tried with all of the Passwords options checked and unchecked but I all ways see"No passwords saved". Please help.

I am having problems playing a particularly demanding video from YouTube (https://youtu.be/-W_nFlIAWFM) which runs at 4K/30 fps. It is a video taken from a drone flying over the Matterhorn in Europe. Here is my configuration: 1. I have a 200Mb connection to the internet and bandwidth testing confirms that it runs at a consistent 195 - 202 Mb. 2. I am using Firefox 126.0 on a dual boot machine running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and Windows 10 (both OSes show similar stuttering and pausing). 3. My hardware is a Gigabyte Aorus Z690i motherboard with 32 GB of RAM and an Intel i5-12600K processor and an NVidia GeFroce RTX 2060 Super graphics card. I have tried disabling "Use hardware acceleration" in Firefox and also disabling all add-ons and rebooting. This hasn't resolved the problem. When I watch the same video in Google Chrome, it seems to display a much slower frame rate than 30fps but doesn't stutter. I have concluded that this video must be a super demanding one to render. There are many picture elements changing constantly. But is there a way to watch this at 4K/30fps with it playing smoothly and at the correct frame rate?

I am curious as to why Mozilla/Firefox doesn't seem interested in matching Chrome for addons for popular dropshipping apps such as CJDropshipping, DSers and AutoDS. These are well catered for in Chrome and allow easy import of products into stores such as Shopify. They save a lot of time for already busy store owners and staff yet Firefox loyalists are forced to switch over and use Chrome to make life easier and save time. For someone who has been using Firefox across both Linux and Windows since it's 2004 launch, it is galling and almost physically debillitating to have to resort to this each time. If I were any good at coding I would surely fix this serious shortcomming.

Please Mozilla look to this and provide us with better options.

without user-consent. so this is not gdpr-compliant. how can i tell firefox not to connect to these sites? thanks t.

I need to migrate the complete profile (all settings, bookmarks, passwords etc) from a snap install to an apt install on the same system. Currently I have both versions installed, but i want to remove the abomination that is snap..

I tried copying ~/snap/firefox/common/.mozilla/firefox files to ~/.mozilla/firefox but that doesnt seem to work. Since this is a multi-user system i dont want to rely on mozilla accounts to sync everything to the cloud.

What do i need to do in order to migrate all the data from one install to another?

I installed the Facebook Container some time ago. But recently realized that Facebook is tracking me, because I'm getting targeted adds on FB. I have also had Firefox set to always use Private Browsing. Today I discovered that the Facebook Container dose not work in Private Browsing. SO, What is the best way to keep FB and others out of my business (short of not using FB)? All this time I thought I was protecting myself and I have not been. HELP!

I'm not sure if this is an issue or a suggestion. The thing is, I bought a chatbot which supports voice input. Every Chromium browser displays the respective input icon and works great. Sadly, Firefox, my favorite browser and the one I use to promote, won't even display this icon.

I just wanted to comment about this because it makes me sad.

The subtitles aren't appearing in the PiP pop out when the original video is Disney+, but they're working on Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube. Is there a way to fix this? I looked around in the settings and couldn't find anything.

I have attached a screenshot of this error which keeps appearing when Firefox is running. It is pointing to a contamination in Firefox itself, not a particular website, though the latest Firefox also will not load X.com even with Tracking Protection turned off for the site. I ran a scan and found nothing. I also cleared browsing objects from Firefox, and I still get this popup threat warning. It appears to be triggered by something in Firefox code. It says it is from https://services.disconnect.me/disconnect-plaintext.json from the process /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox. This began when I updated Firefox to 126.0 (64-bit) on MacOS Sonoma 14.5.

When we enter a search query on mobiles or on PC using Firefox we get:-

There was an error displaying the search results. Please try again.

This started happening today at about 10:45 (BST+2) Using Safari or the Galaxy search engine or using Chrome on the PC works fine.

At first we thought it might be a local problem so we re-booted our router - no result. We re-set Firefox on the PC - no result (anyway it is generalised).

Curiously WhatsApp is still connected (had to re-connect after re-set). So what is going on please?

When I try and get a web page for example wordle or facebook I get following message 'There was an error displaying the search results. Please try again.' I have windows 11 on a laptop and am using duckduckgo as search engine. It has only started today and on Edge using same search engine I do not have the problem
