Earlier on the same video either it is from you tube or from any other cite when ever the pointer of the mouse is placed on the running video the real player button "Download this video" used to be appeared and it used to become useful to down load for me. Now when the Fire Fox is started interrupting I terminated the version and re-installed version 19 as the set up was preserved already. Now the same button is not being displayed in the installed Fire Fox. Now I am downloading them through internet explorer which is containing the same facility.

Try to Disable other Plugins in Firefox, Restart your Firefox and Try again.

I have Real Player on my system. I use Firefox downloader to get the video files. But there are sites where it does not work. Most of the time I can use Real Downloader by moving my mouse over the video. On very rare occasions, Firefox just can't do it so I start Real Player and send the web address to the Real Browser. There have been conflicts between Firefox and Real Downloader in the past. Try to do this; First update Firefox making sure you are using the latest version. Then update Real Player. After, if you are still having trouble, let us know.

Solved the whole Real Player-Firefox issues. Simply go your control panel, select "Programs", under "Default Programs" click on "Change default settings for media or devices". Find Video Files and choose Real Player logo to Import Music, Video and Pictures using Real Player. Click "Save" at the bottom of the window, then closeout and restart Firefox. You should see the "Download this Video" icon in YouTube videos once again and download at will. One caveat, it seems to work great on amateur videos and the like. I had an issue downloading some music videos. It's kind of hit or miss, you will have to keep trying to download a video if it doesn't work initially. I noticed that it downloads videos as a .dash file and then Real Player downloader will convert the file to mp4 or whatever format you have it set to in your preferences. These directions are for Windows 7, you will have to find the equivalent control panel options for other Windows OS. Good luck!
