Why can't Thunderbird find the Mail in the profile?

Hi there,

I'm transferring my mail from a Win 7 machine to a Win 10 machine. I've followed the steps for copying all of the contents of the profile from Users/Administrator/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles ts8z2ssz.default (as indicated by Thunderbird Troubleshoot Info on the Win 7 machine) into a newly installed version on my new machine into the new default profile. The first time I did this, I had an IMAP mail folder (no longer in use) and a MAIL folder and when I opened Thunderbird, it would only see the IMAP mail and accounts which are no longer in use and thus pulled all the wrong data. I used the Troubleshoot Info Help to see that it was set to direct to the IMAP folder.

I then uninstalled and reinstalled it, cleaned the cache with cccleaner and again copied the contents into the new default folder and this time did not bring the IMAP folder with me, so that only the MAIL folder remained. When I open Thunderbird, it still only shows the wrong information from the IMAP folder (which does not exist) and doesn't "see" all the mail accounts it needs to. When I use Troubleshooter, it does not point to the MAIL folder, it points to the profile.

What can I do to clear this up? Thank you so much for any help... : )!
