tabs open continuously linked with opening email contact box in any website

When initiating email contact in a website upon clicking on contact box, untitled tabs start opening at top continuously, and can't stop unless I close windows.

Check the Mailto application in Firefox > Preferences > Applications Make sure that it isn't set to the Firefox application.
