why do all of my internet brower options disappear when a popup window opens? all of the websites that are saved disappear unless i open a new window.

And from that how did you determine that the cause was from FF and not the site that your clicking on? Is seems the problem is the site itself and not FF - especially if they have a popup ware laden site in waiting.

Web sites can specify how a "new window" opens as to the size, the location on the screen, and can specify that the toolbars are suppressed.

A screenshot of Firefox when that is happening should help us "see" if that what's happening. But doing a "Firefox Screenshot" probably won't work. You will probably have to take the screenshot thru the Windows 10 "Snipping Tool". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snipping_Tool


See this support article. How do I create a screenshot of my problem? It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.
