I'm using Firefox for ios to access all social media rather than using their apps. Since FB changed the messanger to end to end encryption, I can't communicate with any of my friends using Firefox, can you please let me know why and how to fix it, everything was working fine until the above change took place.

My Firefox on iPhone (latest version) will pop up the sign in / password dialogue whenever I click an input field for text. It’s not detecting OTPs more than half the time, and even OTP dialogue boxes cause Firefox to try and open the Keychain and sign in, even if it’s not on the sign in page! I find this very concerning. Reinstalling Firefox doesn’t fix it and rebooting phone doesn’t fix it. Any ideas?

I would include a screen but it’s displaying personal information every time I click a text field.

When I’m on a website and I want to pay for something via PayPal it switches onto a new tab that’s blank. It won’t go to the PayPal website. Any thoughts please? Jeff

On my iPad when I tap on Menu Icon > History > Trash Icon > Everything, the tabs refresh/flash and then the order of the tabs change. For example,

Old tabs: 1 2 3 4 (active tab is 2) New tabs after clearing the history: 1 3 4 2 (active tab is now 3)

Is there a way to prevent this? I’d like to keep the original order of my tabs.

iPad OS version Firefox 126.1 (41973) iOS 17.5.1. iPad is am 8th gen When trying to read/use a website, it auto refreshes and pops back to top. I keep mine in landscape mode, and when trying to have a page open many will just refresh. For example https://maxroll.gg/lost-ark/legion-raids/brelshaza-gate-3 Cannot report issue via the 3 dots method because there are no dots to the right of the address bar and I can’t find the option anywhere.

In the dark theme mode, there seems to be an issue with the animation when long-pressing the Tab. However, in the light theme mode, the animation works fine

Hello: I’m running iOS 17.3.1 on iPhone. The problem I’m experiencing: I used to see the Recommended by Pocket articles on my iOS Firefox homepage, but they stopped appearing a few weeks ago. I’ve searched for a resolution, but all I can find are the steps for customizing/personalizing my HomePage: the problem is that although I’m signed into my Firefox/Mozilla account and have chosen Firefox as my Homepage for New Tabs, and I’ve signed out, restarted the app and changed my Firefox settings several times, the option: ‘Recommended by Pocket’ ( along with the actual articles appearing on the homepage) doesn’t even appear anymore: I’m at a loss as to locating that option, as well as, again, seeing the Recommended Articles as they appeared previously. It’s not I stall and update as far as I know, it’s an issue I’ve never seen. My browsers, Firefox chrome DuckDuckGo etc none of them can produce search results though my internet is very much connected to my router. My isp can’t find an issue. What is wrong?

A white toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen (when using a Bluetooth keyboard) or above the floating keyboard (if using the iPad on-screen keyboard). It takes up space but serves no function and often makes it difficult to view whatever webpage I’m looking at, or, even worse, to see what I’m typing if the input field is at the bottom of the screen.

If the “Done” button is clicked, the bar goes away, but then doing so also exits the input field, so I can’t type any further if I close this toolbar. The up/down arrows seem to serve no function.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Firefox app but the issue did not go away.

This does not happen in any other app, including other web browsers like Safari.

Any advice, or a bug fix, would be much appreciated.

For some reason accounts/passwords are not syncing on Firefox across my iPhone and MacBook. I have both signed into the account and have set up sync but it is not sharing across the devices.

Recently, when I type in the URL bar, there is only 1 suggestion from my bookmarks. Before, there were several bookmarks that show.

I want the previous behavior back so that I only need to type a few characters and then choose one of the suggested bookmarks in the list of results. Now, I need to keep typing a lot more characters/words before the 1 bookmark I want shows up. Sometimes I can’t recall enough of the full URL so the bookmark I want never shows up.

This is a big downgrade in the user experience. Is there a setting to go back to the previous behavior?

Since the latest update there are some - not all - websites that I receive the following error message when trying to play a video: The media could not be loaded either because the server or network failed.

If i open a link to redirect to an app, let’s say wikipedia, it will redirect fine. When i switch back to Firefox, the mobile version of the link i clicked on will be loaded instead of just displaying search engine search results where i clicked the wikipedia link. (Admin note: edited to fix formatting issue)

Another thing that happens is if i click on the link, still being wikipedia, get redirected to the app, then close out firefox, the next time i open firefox, it will redirect me back to the wikipedia app.

This issue I have been having is not just related to Wikipedia, this is for any other link that may open a related app I have installed on my phone.
