Hi, Since the last update for Mozilla on the laptop (updated on 6/Oct/2025 - version 143.0.4 (64-bit)), all the shortcuts to websites in Firefox homepage I had pinned have disappeared. Also I can't add new shortcuts. I already have shortcuts enabled in Settings>Home>Firefox Home Content>Shortcuts.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Youtube does not work. It shows somekind of default page that is essentially blank. It does say: "Try searching to get started" and "Start watching videos to help us build a feed of videos you'll love."

But it will not respond when I attempt to search anything.

The favicons on my homepage are not appearing when I launch Firefox, and I can't find any way to restore them. Turning the favicons on/off in the settings doesn't help, it just moves the location of the search bar. I've included some images to better illustrate the problem.

Is there any way we can restore the favicons?

I have various shortcuts saved on the shortcut page comes up after logging in. Its set to 2 rows.. I use it every day. Used it this morning and working perfectly. Been out and when I came back the page is totally blank. I've tried sytem restore to 5th October but makes no difference. I use Windows 10 and read that Firefox are continuing to support Windows 10 I'm visually impaired and use a desktop PC with a large screen. I'm not PC techically knowledgeable. How do I restore my shortcuts or how do I re create them?

Since 141 update I have constant problems with youtube. Page does not load at all or loads only partially. Icons on sidebar are broken, youtube logo is black. I tried disabling ublock and greasemonkey but it did not help. Refreshing page multiple times and using ctrl+f5 sometimes helps but issue returns often, every few videos/visits. Clearing cookies helps but only for few hours and then issue returns.

Is it related to WebGPU support that was supposed to be added in 141? Can I disable it somehow?

Hi everyone Since sep-15, The "Open previous windows and tabs" function is NOT working .. everytime i have to reopen all the previous tabs. I am not sure if any update has caused this. Please help. Thanks

I am unable to print after upgrade to ver 144.0 The print preview just spins. I can print these web pages using Edge. This same thing happens with new version of Thunderbird. Can't print email either. John Stark

My YouTube page wont complete its opening/loading process. This just started today and has never happened before. I've tried "reloading" it several times but to no avail. I see I can open YouTube properly using the Microsoft Edge browser, but Firefox is getting stuck in the opening/loading process. I even tried "restarting my Desktop PC (that I use for this everyday). It did not help.

Alternative search engines no longer appear when typing the stasrt of a search. Am able to set alternative search engine in settings but need to go back to settings if I want to use another one. This happened after a recent update - perhaps as much as a week ago.

Issue: A regression in Firefox version 142.0 (64-bit) breaks the display of the CAPTCHA widget on the login page for https://my8k.me/login

Evidence: The two attached images provide a clear comparison:

   Image 1 (Firefox 142.0): The CAPTCHA area is completely missing or fails to load, showing only a broken element or empty space.

   Image 2 (Other Browsers / Older Firefox): The CAPTCHA renders correctly and is fully functional, confirming the problem is isolated to the latest Firefox update.

Conclusion: This indicates a specific compatibility bug introduced in Firefox 142.0, rather than a general website or user configuration error.

Ok, this happens every so often. I use a Laptop running up to date Win 11. For the last several days, when I try to get on Facebook, Firefox doesn't log me in all the way. Pages are just frozen and I can't do anything. I back out, I reboot, but nothing works so just now I logged into Edge and am just flying around Facebook! I have changed nothing so it is not me or my machine. Why does Firefox do this? I love it and have used it for years but this drives me crazy!! Thanks
