I need some advice on what to tell mail.com support.

I can log into my mail webmail account mail.com, but when clicking to access my inbox to view my mail, this message appears:

"Blocked by Content Security Policy

This page has a content security policy that prevents it from being loaded in this way.

Firefox prevented this page from loading in this way because the page has a content security policy that disallows it."

Am I correct in assuming that the site in question is responsible for setting their own CSP, so they seem to have gotten something mixed up?

I have tested with all add on disabled as well. I found that the issue happens on Firefox 25.0.1, released 2014, (I cannot to due to add on compatibility) but does not happen on latest browser version so I am puzzled how can a Content Security Policy (CSP) rule be browser VERSION dependent?

Their support email just feeds me the "upgrade your browser" but is this not a bad CSP rule they can fix?

If mail.com will not help me can I disable CSP just for this site (not globally) in the browser - is there an add on that I can use to work around there unhelpful email support?

I get the blue and white striped image but nothing happens for over an hour - this has been happening for months as previously reported - is there a phone tech I can call - I am extremely frustrated - help - Ron

It worked using XP. Now I have to resort to using Explorer :-( to listen to music online. I hope there is a fix for this. I started using Firefox because I didn't like Explorer. Other web sites that I go to seem to work fine.

Please tell this can be fixed.

My context menu no longer has some of the options it used to have. I have disabled a number of add-ons to solve the problem, but it didn't work. I don't find options like opening the link in a different window or tab useful. Could you please tell me how I can change my context menu that has options of deleting, renaming, removing, editing a tab or a folder in my email account (Yahoo)?

I've cleared cookies multiple times

I've emptied the cache

I cleared my download history, and a majority of my browsing history

I've tried having hardware acceleration for both flash and firefox on and off

I turned off all my apps and plugins and when that did nothing I turned back on the ones I need. I never had a lot of apps to begin with. only a max of 5. I had quite a few plugins, but i disabled all but quicktime, flash, and silverlight. I have those three set on "ask to activate" so none are "always active" anymore.

I also tried a couple things from the FAQ and forums here about changing a few settings in the "about:config" setup.

A few of the above things initially worked, but after a day or two it'd be back to sucking up my CPU and memory. I would then try the same thing again, and this second time there would be no improvement. The real memory will fluctuate between 200 MB and 1.7 GB, and has done so for quite a while.

Even after I've left streaming sites, and sites with lots of images, and I'm not downloading anything, the memory and the CPU will still do that. I only have a handful of tabs open at a timeusually, and all of them are mostly text. I'll quit and reopen firefox, which will initially bring the memory and CPU usage down, but it inevitably climbs up quite quickly, regardless of my tab usage. It'll be the same if I'm playing a flash game or scrolling through blogs.

I never had any of these problems with Firefox 23, and my internet usage habits haven't changed at all. I had some of this slowness a few times with version 24, but nowhere near as bad as this, or as constant. Almost everyday I end up googling for other ways to speed things up. Everything I do never slowed down Firefox on earlier versions.

I've tried all my usual tasks on Safari which will never climb above 30-40 MB of memory, even on netflix streaming, or flash games, and the CPU will average around 8 and 11%.

I live in Warrington, PA, zip code 18976. However, for some reason, Firefox apparently passes to other sites an address for me which is near Bethlehem or Allentown, PA, which are about 50 miles north of where I live. The result is whenever a website I've selected presents a map or directions, it always provides (for example) store locations in the Bethlehem - Allentown area, not in the area where I live. This problem has existed ever since I began using Firefox, at least 3 or 4 years ago. It's getting a little tiresome.

I have tried without success to find where this incorrect address is stored in Firefox, but without success. My ISP is Verizon.

Any streaming video that I view on Firefox stutters, is choppy and very irritating to try and watch. I opened up Internet Explorer and found that I don't have those issues. This occurs on YouTube, Facebook, and all other videos that I attempt to watch.

For the past few weeks my web browser keeps freezing up on me and i get the message on top of the browser saying not responding. I thought my computer was all cluttered with files or cookies. So I reinstalled my windows 7. In the process deleting everything on my computer. I thought this was going to fix the problem but no luck. It is still doing the same thing.

Something has infected my Firefox and I can't get rid of it. About a week or so ago, I started getting pop-up ads every time I go to a link in Firefox. I looked on the help blog and it said to do a "Restore to original settings". That didn't do any good. I still got the popups.

So I removed Firefox completely from my computer and rebooted it. I just reinstalled Firefox and almost instantly, on the very first link I got a pop-up screen telling me that I need to do a "Windows Player Update. - Recommended Player Update - Important!" and it wants me to click on an install button. It looks like some phishing site to me.

It won't be so bad, except it happens all the time. Since it's a pop-up, half the time, I can't see my screen.

This is only happening on Firefox. IE is unaffected.

When I tried to install Firefox sync it said it was not compatible with firefox 25.0.1. Mac 10.6.8 is the most my system can handle.

I have an iphone 4 running iOS 7.0.3.

I want to use firefox on my iphone and believe i need to install Firefox Sync to accomplish this. Is there anyway where i can run firefox on my iphone?

Syncing between the Mac and the iphone would be good but is not essential.

I do not use homepage anyway but I use Alt+Digits on numpad to enter symbols like …, «, », ©. So if i forget to switch my NumLock on Alt+7 brings me to homepage, wiping all the text i entered. it is realy annoing. Is there an option to disable this hotkey or change it to some other buttons or at least make homepage to open in new tab but not in the current one.

I want that little star back that opens the bookmarks sidebar. It's just to the left of the address field on XP in FP 25. But on Windows 8 in FP 25.0.1 it's not there. Instead there's a star that sometimes appears on the right of the address bar. But the star on the right does not open the bookmarks sidebar. It only displays a list of bookmarks and options, which do not include opening the sidebar. Has this option been removed and replaced with Ctrl B?

I keep getting "update to the latest Firefox version" messages on my iMac, even though I've downloaded the latest version several times. I'm afraid to click on the update message because it might be spam/virus/whatever. Mozilla tells me I've downloaded the latest version of Firefox successfully. How do I stop the messages from appearing?

My main email address is what my gmail, google, and maybe other things have been linked to since day one.

 I added another email address a year or two later, and I choose a name I liked better, and have been using this second name for most everything for a long time.

So I am thinking I may need to change my email to my original email, so everything syncs, or run smooth.

 So that is my question, and hopefully you will have an answer

All this automated stuff looked good, but didn't really tell me anything. So I am hopefully you can answer my question. Thank you for what you do........... Mike

Yesterday I bit the bullet and updated Firefox from 18 to the current version (25.0.1). The first thing I've noticed is that when I open new tabs (just open, not focus on them), the gifs in said tabs load and already start playing, even though I haven't visited that tab yet. I then come to the tab and to a gif in mid-animation. On my older version the gifs loaded and then waited until you actually went to the tab before they started playing. I don't see anyone else complaining about this.

When I clicked on the Firefox icon on my desktop it automatically started an update. When the update finished, most of the icons on my desktop were gone. (Before the update, only the Google Chrome icon was missing.) The names of the shortcuts are still there, and the links still work, but the images are gone. When I click one of these shortcuts, a pale rectangle appears, as before, but there is no picture.

I am trying to resize the the lengths of the address bar and the search bar. I could before using a "line" between them to drag to resize. But this is now not showing. Any ideas?

So far the only way I've found is to wait for the browser to stop responding and then when it asks to restore the session can I see and close one marked as "Sandbox". I have tried ctrl + 1-8 and that doesn't show it.

Somehow I got the search.conduit.com problem it was on my home page and I get it when I open a new tab. I have tried about:config changing the URL and I followed the steps for deleting User.JS and I found a User file (did not specify if it was a .JS ) but when I tried opening it I got and error. I also ran the SearchReset Addon but no luck. Well the only other option I see is reinstalling FireFox but I'm affraid I will loose all my bookmarks. Can you pleas help me?

I get "icons and text" or "text" but "icons" only do not appear. You say the default setting should be icons only but this just isn't the case. Is this a programming issue?
