Is there a Firefox setting that automatically clears cookies? When I turned my computer on, it had been cleared of cookies since the last time I had it on a few hours ago, but I didn't do it. No one else here to use the computer but me. I don't want cookies cleared automatically. How do I change it back to manual? I use Firefox Browser 120.0

I have been receiving the following error code 'PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR' on several website on my Firefox browser. Sometime, not all the time, I get the same error message while trying to use YouTube, while other times the site loads but says that I am offline and no internet connection. I have done all of the fixes that they say to use online and nothing seems to work. YouTube will occasionally work but none of the thumbnails will show up. Then there are other site that work fine.

when I'm on sites playing games, i.e. face book, I keep getting this across the bottom of my screen:

How can I disable it? I can't take a screen shot because if I place my mouse on it, it skips to another place on my screen.

why do you stalk and bother the users? i do not want to update! without warning you alter things i do not want you to alter. you take things out so people have to use risky 3rd party addons.

Hi, I have a problem as my Facebook keeps freezing on Mozilla when I try to add emojis to a post, I have tried all the recommended actions but the issue still persists but it works normaly on MS Edge when I perform the same actions. Help !

Firefox seems to be hanging up my computer every once and awhile. Why I think FF, if I am able to kill it with task manager- all is well. Prior to that system is pretrty much locked up, sometimes can't even get task manager running. Also, about twice a week I get a message from FF about oops your Foxnews tab has stopped., please send report. I haven't sent report, just do a reload.

I have run 3 virus checkers, chkdsk and sfc /scannow and all are okay no virus, disk or system files missing.

Thinking of switching browsers for awhile?? Then seems there is a place in profile that has passwords, but I forgot where. Maybe I could download a completely new copy of firefox and keep my profile?? Then again maybe my profile is messed up.

Any suggestions the best way to get a completely new copy of FF??

On Windows 10 current release and now FF 119.0. Down to using Flagfox, Malwarebytes Browser Guard, tab reloader, undo close tab, web threat shield (webroot). Was for years using Noscripts, but stopped it for the last few weeks. Actually I stopped Malwarebytes Browser Guard, web threat shield and noscripts and still got hung up. That only left Flagfox, undo close tab and tab reload running as addons.

I have the e-edition app for my newspaper on my PC. This allows me to read an electronic version of our daily paper. One feature of the app is to be able to print parts of the paper such as the crossword puzzle. When selecting to print the selected section, the section displays in a pop-up which it should. However recently when using Firefox the pop-up displays twice. And when printing again, the pop-up opens three times and then four times and then five times. I can get it to print ok from the last displayed pop-up and then I just have to close all the other pop-ups.

When using this app with Google and Edge this does not happen so I was wondering if there is a setting in Firefox that needs to be changed. Turning off pop-ups doesn't help in that I get the same of screens displayed telling me pop-ups have been disabled.

This odd behavior only began a few weeks ago.

I was required to make a quick computer switch. I cannot access my old computer. When I opened Firefox on the new one it was without my bookmarks, saved passwords etc. I really need those passwords. And I don't like an orphaned window for Firefox floating around with my info. At best, how do I get it on my new computer. At worst, how does the info get deleted so that it is not available online to anyone?

Unless I'm crazy, Firefox used to import the tags in an exported bookmarks HTML file. I used this to move bookmarks between profiles. What happened to that capability?

When I use the Firefox browser and attempt to open my Evernote, after I enter the password, it will not open on my desktop. I nearly always use Firefox (and prefer it); however, I can easily open Evernote if I use Chrome. How do I correct this problem? Thanks, Jan

For the past few weeks (perhaps after updates?), my Firefox browser has refused to connect through AVG secure VPN - it is completely blocked and time-out on ALL websites. When I disconnect the AVG VPN, then Firefox works immediately correctly. It happens on both private and public networks.

Both Firefox and AVG secure VPN are up to date. Firefox 120.0 (64- bit) AVG Secure VPN 5.28.9117 I have been using AVG professional antivirus and firewall for years. Windows 10 Latest Version.

Any suggestions please?

I saw there was a fix / workaround for pasting text into WhatsApp on desktop in Firefox, but I used to be able to copy and paste images too and that still doesn't work. It works in the AVG secure browser though. It used to work in Chrome, but I don't want to go to Chrome just to send a picture from my desktop. Is there any workaround or fix in Firefox to copy and paste images into WhatsApp on desktop?

I am receiving the following error message when I try to Manage Autoship on Chewy.com:

The page isn't redirecting properly"

"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

• This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

This had not been an issue previously. What can I do to fix it?

I was also blocked from downloading Chrome. Was this caused by last update?

Hello dear supports i created a firefox account with my pc and i just have that on my pc not mobile and i just sync all of my info(sync now) and i would change my windows for viruses,now i reinstall firefox and singin in my acc and i dont see my pass,history,bookmarks and etc.pls help me i really need those

After reinstalling Windows 11 Pro on a newly installed SSD my browser resets location and size to default. Nothing listed here in support or found elsewhere through a web search has made a difference. Also, if I leave Firefox open for an extended period of time so that the browser stays where I put it, and keeps the same size, it will crash. As a test, I had Windows resize the browser to the full monitor, closed it, and when I reopened Firefox it filled the monitor. A second time closed and reopened a few minutes later resets back to default location and size. Everything else (bookmarks, extensions, etc.) remains the same. Nothing has been added or removed since the fresh install.

This is the latest version, 23H2, of Windows 11 Pro, which, btw, was the version I was running before the fresh install of Windows 11 Pro.

How can this be corrected?

I typically download 30 to 40 video files daily of around 5 MB each. The most I can download seems to be 8 files, then I have to select the next 8 to download. Is there a way I can select all 30 files and have them download one at a time in order without having to keep selecting the next file?

I am about to stop using Firefox, because recently, every time it wants to update, it goes right ahead without my say so, and completely voids my entire history. Everything is gone. I have to find all my tabs again, and sign into them all again. Dreadful. I was a faithful user of this web platform, bit this is so inconveniently useless, I cannot continue.
