I created an account on an old PC, in the account it is visible as kos-work-note, now I am on a new kos-ltop, and there is no data at all in the browser, why is that?

I am on Linux Mint 21.2, and I just updated Firefox (141.0). Now, the bookmarks bar, toolbar, and the tabs (everything above the displayed page), as well as the menu, bookmarks menu, and sidebar, are in light mode even though I have dark mode set (They were dark before the update). I tried playing with the Dark Mode settings to no avail. My system is set to dark mode in general. Are others experiencing this? Is there some sort of fix?

For the last two years the issues with video stutter have been worse and worse for me. I don't know if it is because of a different codec the video is using, but if it was I would expect the fans to ramp up from trying to decode it. Instead, my laptop stays always silent, but the video laggs like crazy when I want to play it at native 1440p.

I cannot view or change the video codec, since the current issue happens on a platform (herohero.com) other than youtube.

I have recently installed the containers extension and have been having a bit of trouble with one site (the others are fine), which seems to originate from the manner in which the site is structured. As it references new pages, they are often in a different URL. For example, you start in login.site.com, which then tries to load dashboard.site.com, but it fails authentication on dashboard.site.com because it opens in a different container. Which then tries to open the login.site.com page again, which displays the login page, but showing it tying to complete the original authentication. I have tried to add each step along the way, but without success. Is there a way to overcome this?

Since the last update, I am unable to log into my American Express account using Firefox (I can log in using Chrome, but Firefiox is my default browser). After entering user name and password, the little spinng arrow goes around for 8-10 seconds and goes off again - it won't to progress to the next screen . Never any error messages, it just spins awhile and stops.

Hello, After update to firefox 127 for linux I get popup messages every time I visit a site. A typical message is e.g. for google.com:

www.google.com 1

Any hints? Thanks in advance.

In version 143 there is no rollup window option that allows a linux system to roll the window up out of the way. The icon is a caret located in the top right corner of the window.

Why can the Firefox source code (view-source) of a website be nearly three times the size compared with Chrome/Opera or when I save the Firefox source code marked and copied and then pasted and saved via an editor?

Firefox has long been my browser of choice on all platforms. I am switching from Windows to Linux and have recently found problems playing some videos on the Linux version of Foxfire. I don’t know if it’s a matter of having the right codec or something else. The videos play with Chromium on Linux and with Firefox on my Android smartphone. I was dismayed to discover that the latest versions of Firefox (e.g. 141 on Linux) unify the search and address bars again. There does not seem to be any easy and obvious way to change this.

On my 128 esr Linux Firefox I have an address bar that does not accept search terms and a separate search bar.

How can I get this behaviour in 141?

`StartupWMClass=firefox-aurora` in `/usr/share/applications/firefox-devedition.desktop`, with actually `firefox-dev` for opened windows.

Version: Ubuntu 25.04, GNOME 48, firefox-devedition 143.0b2.
