I want to convert a pdf file that I mistakenly had to generate when I deleted the original file. I want to convert the pdf sheet back to a Word doc so I can edit it.

Today I installed a new extension (Bitwarden) and want to add the icon to the toolbar. I can't find it anywhere. The add-on shows up in the add-on manager but there's nothing there to help me add the icon. The little puzzle piece in the upper right of the browser -- click on that and Bitwarden isn't listed.

How do I fix this? In Chrome there's a simple toggle switch in the extension manager to add the icon to the toolbar. Frankly, if I can't get this Bitwarden icon to display I can't use Firefox at all. Thanks.

I've noticed lately that my Firefox keeps freezing and hanging up at random periods for no apparent reason. I have very few plugins and it even happens with them all disabled and removed. I've tried resetting Firefox to default everything yet it makes no difference.

Also I can not clear history. I've tried multiple different clear history plugins but none of them work at all. And when I try the traditional way of clearing Firefox history the window pops up and then the entire browser just freezes while 'clearing' and never gives me back control, I have to force quit and restart to regain control. And then when I relaunch the history is still not cleared!

So aside from the constant lagging and lockups it seems that any attempt to delete history whether using the inbuilt function or adding plugins messes up the whole browser.

Googling this issue it seems others are having the exact same problem with Firefox and yet any suggested solutions (reset browser) don't seem to be working for may of them.. Or me.

For years had bookmarks in folders showing on Bookmark Toolbar. Today they are all gone. Still in my Bookmarks on the drop down Menu, but not appearing on the Toolbar. Please help. Can't seem to drop and drag them there. Also, the Bookmarks Toolbar keeps disappearing every time I go to look at a new tab.

Please add support for progressive web apps to firefox, it is the only reason why I have stopped using firefox in preference of chrome. Without this feature, we can't use websites in split screen without the search bar area eating into the web page.

Firefox won't start after updating to version 123.0 on Ubuntu OS.

At the same time, no errors will appear, and there is also no specific crash report that would help understand the reason.

I cannot download & installed any add-ons or themes. After clicking the install button, I always get a red bar saying "Download failed. Please check your connection.". This happens on Firefox, Firefox beta and Firefox nightly.

I did some googling and found similar posts from a few years ago. These seem to suggest I don't have the correct certificate used to verify extension signatures:

I checked my certificates and I don't have anything from "Mozilla Corporation - signingca1.addons.mozilla.org" (there's a screenshot of this cert in the first forum link above), so I think this is indeed the issue? I've attached a screenshot of my cert list where the Mozilla cert should be.

Please note I am on an M3 Pro macbook pro. It's a work laptop and I thought maybe our network settings were interfering with things, but my previous work laptop (Intel) could install add-ons just fine.

Would appreciate some help!

P.S. I found a workaround where I copied over all extension JSON and XPI files from my old laptop. So I am using my previous extensions just fine but still cannot download any new ones. Also I don't have access to my old laptop anymore so can't copy over any new ones.

Firefox will not allow my to post comments on Yahoo. I have no issues with Chrome or Safari. I get the following error message: Your comment failed to publish. Retry

I wish to save my bookmarks in alphabetical order, first the folders and then any bookmarks that have not yet been allocated to a specific folder. This used to be possible as I gave reorganised the older bookmark folders are in alphabeical order previously. This seems to be no longer posible. I can reorganise them in View but cannot save them. Am I doing something wrong? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. text

i imported Firefox bookmarks to Firefox on another user account and i am not getting thumbnails! Both on bookmark's bar and inside bookmark browser :/

Why can't Firefox copy text to the clipboard anymore? It won't copy text from a web page, from a URL, or even from about:support "Copy text to clipboard"!!! I'm using version 1.22 64 bit on windows 11. I've reinstalled Firefox but it doesn't make a difference. I've tried "Troubleshoot Mode" and it's still broken!!!

I can paste into Firefox but something has broken copy!

I am unable to connect to mozilla website using firefox. It works fine on other browsers, but i get an "we're having trouble finding that site" error. I am able to open other sites on firefox.

On a couple of sites (e.g. Petapixel) when I click "Load Comments", nothing happens. I suspect this may be because Firefox security is preventing comments from loading because of site tracking or other security issues. Is this the cause?

My old email keeps showing up when Firefox is trying to auto fill email. How do I change that in Firefox. Same with addresses, My mailing address is shown in many different ways, all variants of my actual address.

Also, I have some kind of browser hijacker (BING) that keeps directing me to Bing website. I have tried the standard procedures as outlined, bu t still BING often redirects my searches. I am also working with my anti-virus people to try to correct, but thought I would ask you as well.
