Firefox os
I would like to install Firefox os on my desktop computer. Weather this is possible I am not sure but I would love to get away from widows. I have not had much luck with Linux or Mac. If there is anything that can be done please let me know. I don't know if a desktop version has been a subject for development but I would love to try....even if my computer runs like a cell phone. Thank you for reading my request.

Actually what you are looking for is not available till now. Because Firefox OS doesn't have any desktop version and I haven't heard about any development process. However you can enjoy Firefox OS in desktop via simulator. But this simulator is an addon of Firefox browser. To use it, you must need an operating system like Windows or Linux or OSX and a Firefox desktop browser. Moreover Firefox OS simulator isn't designed to use your file ecosystem in harddisk.
