hi LLew1010, as mozilla has announced that they were stopping commercial partnerships with phone manufacturers/telecoms to get firefox os phones to market, this is getting more unlikely to happen... there are some android devices though that can be flashed with firefox os, in case you are interested in that: https://firefoxos.mozilla.community/devices/

Followup question:

Do you have to worry about the frequency setting? I.e., suppose I get a Nexus 5 (or another phone) that works on Verizon (or another network). I install firefox OS - wiping out Android. Will the phone still just work on Verizon? Or do I need to fiddle more?

I am not a geek (advanced user) - just like things to work with little hassle.
