After update, when I click on auto fill option a settings tab opens every single time. I close it and it happens again. I use firefox to fill out some repeated forms (and separate topic would also like to customize these autofils and pre-write some ideally), but this is a new problem that breaks using firefox totally for me, causing lots of scrolling clicks and time wastage. What changed that can be fixed in recent updates on this? Thanks.

I've been using a Rewards site regularly (3/4 times per month) for several years without problem. This weekend the attached pop-up appeared. It makes no difference whether I select Resend or Cancel, the program just re-displays the pop-up trapping me in an endless loop. The only exit is to close the window and abort the process. I was able to complete the task without any problem using Edge instead so it appears to be a Firefox specific issue. I haven't consciously changed anything since last using the site successfully on 24 May. Any help/suggestions appreciated.

In Firefox, whenever I go to nab.com.au and then click on Login on the top right, I hear a constant stream of static noise coming out of the speakers.

In Chrome, when I just visit nab.com.au that same noise starts.

I have a set of Bose speakers connected via an optical cable.

This behaviour doesn't happen on all sites. Just some. As soon as you close the tab, the noise goes away.

It's driving me absolutely nuts.

I have recently been getting an error message when I open Firefox saying "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem". This has been happening since I clicked on a mail in Mail to unsubscribe from a spam/phishing mail list, which seemed to result in me installing Firefox Private Browsing, which I had never subscribed to. I have tried uninstalling Private Browsing but there is no way of doing that. I have even uninstalled and then re-installed Firefox completely but I still have the same problem. Because of the problem I have now lost all my bookmarks and history, and am unable to create new bookmarks and history. I have been on the help forums and seen that I can Disable Private Browsing by going through my anti-virus (Avast), which I have not yet tried because what I would really like to achieve is uninstalling and not having Private Browsing on my Start menu, rather than simply disabling it. Anyway, would disabling it solve the bookmarks and history problem ? Can anyone give me the solution ? Thanks. As you may gather, I am not very techno so you would have to give me the idiot's version of any instructions or advice.

hard drive failed on windows 10 pc, new drive put in & window 10 reinstalled with Edge browser (by experts) What do i do to get firefox browser as my main browser back with all my bookmarks etc & firefox VPN ?

Do I just download firefox installer & sign on & all bookmarks etc will be there?

For the last few weeks i've noticed youtube vids buffer but then sometimes stop and when the video reaches that point on the bar it skips about 5-10 seconds, then contines to buffer like normal, so I have to use the arrow keys to go back to see what I missed. It is very annoying. Happens almost 1-2 every day at random times. My wifi speed is good. I've cleared cookies and caches, turned off enhanced tracking protection for youtube, i've even increased perfomance settings for intel graphics in my pc's power manegment plan. Nothing! Can anyone help, thanks.

There are a bunch of obsolete suggestions on opening FF without address bar, menu bar, etc., and kiosk mode.

I do not want Kiosk mode, but do need ability to open it via command line so that only the title bar (and borders around the app.

The most current available entry on the matter in the Mozilla site no longer works (at least for me) --

firefox.exe" -ssb https://www.example-site.html/

Also even if it did, not viable to update all FF users as these are customers, and they won't, simple as that. Chromium browsers just work by passing the command by default.

This is for use to launch a local help/users guide from a Windows application. Can do so on Chrome/Edge, but leaving out FF is less than ideal.

Just installed latest version of Firefox - and cannot login into the browser to enable applications menu.

I can login into my Mozilla account but how do you login to this new version of the browser?

I am trying to login to my Mozilla account so that I can backup my data and move it onto a new computer. However, even though Sync is activated, I cannot find my Mozilla Firefox password anywhere and am unsure of what it is. Is there anyway that someone who works at Mozilla can give me access to my password?

I am happy to verify my identity and prove that this is indeed my account, but I am not sure of how to go about doing so. I really need access to all of my data, and would be highly thankful for any assistance regarding this matter.

As per subject. When i click a Mailto link in a webpage, eMClient opens OK, but message window does not. Seems to be a Firefox problem because it works fine in Chrome. I've checked the Firefox and Windows (10) settings; all seems as it should be. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My internet has 750mb of bandwidth. Updated 64bit Firefox can only provide 320mb. I installed Chrome and the internet went to 800mb. What could be slowing down internet speed in Firefox? I restored Firefox, restarting everything. I did the same with Windows 10. I restored it to an earlier date. It didn't improve anything. What to do ?

When I start FireFox most times the browser comes up then stops and restarts with a pink color on the web address line. I have tried making changes in settings but I can not find a setting for this. If I restart Firefox right after this happens, I cn search or browse without the Pink address line. Why is this happening. It would be nice if FireFox technicians would respond to help questions instead of sending questions to a forem...

It was working fine and now the past few days I can no longer login to my Fastmail.com account other than from my Windows 7 pc

So no one including Firefox can email me
