Not sure what's going on, but when I am on YouTube this happens and nothing loads at all. The website is working on Edge and so I think it's YouTube angry that I have ad blocking enabled. Any advice

I am using firefox in macbook pro m2 13 inch with mac os ventura and when I try to access the localhost name in firefox I got 404 response . How can I fix it ? (Note: I am using homebrew package manager httpd service)

Hi there, I have been using Firefox for over twenty years now, but the latest findings are frightening. I use openhab for my smarthome and the openhab cloud website was not rendering properly under Firefox, so I tried Chrome. The page loaded without any problems. I had this behavior on desktop, Android phone and Android tablet. Sometimes I could fix the problem by deleting the browser data, but not always. I did a lot of settings on the tablet and thought it was not responsive, but it turned out to be Firefox. With Chrome, the application responds directly on the first click. But the worst thing was that I had a conversation with Amazon using my laptop and was waiting for a response. I reloaded the page countless times with Ctrl+F5 until I tried Chrome. The response was immediate and I didn't see it until three days later. Since then I keep noticing things not loading or updating in Firefox.

I don't know what I should look for this three devices have the same bad behavior. Is there already an effort to fix this? If not, I'll have to bite the bullet and switch browsers. I don't like the idea because twenty years is a long time.

I am a very long-term user of Firefox. I have a newish windows laptop and I use the hibernate function when I want to start and stop a windows session. I have been using windows 11 for a good while now without any problem, but about 6 weeks ago I started to get a new problem - Firefox now can take up to 4 minutes to load or reload a page after hibernation. The length of time to reconnect time varies. This only affects Firefox. There is no problem with my internet - other programmes and apps load immediately, and at the same time as Firefox is still trying to load a page/any page I haven't added any new add-ons and can't think of anything I've done that could cause this issue. I thought this would be a windows 11 issue caused after an update, but after a bit of searching on Google, Reddit and Mozilla Help/ I can't find anyone else with a similar problem.

I imported my bookmarks from chrome and there are thousands of bookmark folders. I wish to delete multiple folders at one time. All the answers I have found online do not seem to work. Is there a way in managing bookmarks to select and delete multiple "FOLDERS" at one time? TIA.

I was not able to download FireFox from browser so downloaded the app from microsoft store and I cant add add-ons it shows download failed check your connection but i have 5g internet, I also used mobile data to ensure download but no results

I use Quickbooks. I've been frustrated on mozilla with the last two characters being cut off. I can change the zoom, but that doesn't help. It didn't used to happen, but I don't know which version this started with. When I use the same product under Chrome, it doesn't happen, so it's not the product. Any way you can help me?

I'm really surprised and frustrated that I can't do this on Windows 10.

This happens only on youtube (as far as I can detecet).

It happens on a Yoga 9i (1360p processor), latest patched windows 11, latest ffox (installed from MS store, currently 116.0.3). Machine has Iris graphics and uses latest avaliable driver (same thing happened with older driver too, I made an update while trying to pinpoint the problem).

So, when I start firefox I can watch a number of clips, but at some point something happens and from that moment on, my youtube videos have 99% dropped frames (I can hear sound ok, I can see subtitles, but the video is frozen).

As far as I can see, it happens on avc1 or vp9 codecs (I dont knw if that is significant). MS Edge runs same videos fine, network works flawlessly.

Funny thing I noticed today is that if I close firefox and start it again, problem will go away but repeat itself after a number of videos. Closing only youtube tab does not help (forcing cache refresh also does not help).

p.s. youtube hidef plugin was also installed in hopes of solving the problem

I am writing to inquiry about bookmarks. I have hundreds of bookmarks, if not thousands with many folders, which I have saved over the last decade. I have always synced my account and it should all be there upon downloading a new firefox on my new computer. However, the HTML file that it is asking me to upload from is not a file I am able to find in by backups, time machine, or anywhere else. It is also not in my account after I sign in. I have spent nearly 10 hours trying to figure this out. I have read all your articles and went through the steps of about:profiles. ALL my bookmarks should have been synced and saved. I have firefox in my Time-machine backup also. But none of the library files populates the bookmarks.

It would be a huge harm to my research career if I am unable to restore my bookmarks. I have trusted and used Firefox for a long time. Please assist me in obtaining these bookmarks in my browser.

A few days ago, I have noticed that FF stopped marking links I've visited as "visited". Initially I thought that it's a website issue, but the same happened on more than one page, including Google search.

I have tested those pages on other browsers, and everything works fine, so my conclusion is that it's an FF problem, but I don't know if it's my installation problem, or Update issue. Does anyone know anything about this issue?

How can I recover the history that has been deleted from firefox? Already there is an article from 2020 which says to find index.dat file but there is no .dat file that i can find. I am looking for the file in the following location: AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\83ctti6r.default-release\cache2 and that location is the only one with a file named index but it is without .dat extension. If that is supposed to be the file that I am to use then which .dat file reader do I use to open it and recover the history.

There appears to be an echo for recipient of calls when I use Google Voice through Firefox. When I call people, they hear an echo of their own voice. I hear them fine. This just recently happened which I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the last update installed. I tried a different browser and it works fine. Please help.

Whenever I click a link to track a UPS package or even manually enter the info on their website, I get an error message stating "We are unable to complete your tracking request at this time. Please try again later." That only happens with Firefox and no other browsers. I've tried to disable pop-up blockers with the same result. Any ideas of other things I could try? Thanks.

I believe this issue started today. When I print using the Firefox dialog box, all of the printed pages are in color even though the color mode is set to Black and White. I have not changed any of my printer setting and have been using the same printer for many years. The printer is an HP Officejet Pro 8600. I have Firefox version 116.0.3 which was just updated today to that version. When I use another browser (Google Chrome) the pages are printed in Black & Whte. Therefore this appears to be a Firefox issue. I am using Windows 10 64 bit. How can this problem be corrected so that the pages will print in Black & White when I use the Firefox diaglog box? Hi, I'm using 116.0.3 (64-bit) Firefox, everything works perfectly except it takes so much time to start to load a page. For example, if I'm entering Google homepage it takes about 6-10 seconds just to start loading and then loads very quickly the page. Sometimes it does load it normally and very quickly but is not often. I love Firefox and I don't want to replace it, in Chrome it works fine. Please help me to find a solution. The problem started about 2-3 weeks ago. Thank you very much!

This is what I tried: -Using Safe Mode and Troubleshoot mode didn't change anything - Removing all the extensions - Deleting history, cache and cookies (using JV16 or PrivaZer or built in Firefox settings) - Refreshing Firefox - Deleting with JV16 to remove everything that is related to Firefox and reinstalling from the official site. - Disabling Hardware Acceleration - Disabling DNS Prefetch - Changing DNS (1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 or default by supplier) - Using custom config settings following this guide: ("Make Firefox fast again")
