I am attempting to report that Yahoo Finance is broken. From this URL, I use the "report broken site" feature:

https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/DEO/

When I fill out the information and hit "send", nothing happens. The "report broken site" screen remains active. Hitting Send multiple times has no effect.

I've tried using this feature for other pages, and it appears to work; but it won't work for this site.

Can anyone suggest why that might be? Is it a byproduct of the site's being broken?

In numerous cases i have found not to be beneficial when website's search function is activated on Ctrl+F keyboard shortcut and where is better to use regular Firefox on-page search instead. I think that the good site has search button/area visible so i can use it when needed.

So please how to disable Firefox's search (Ctrl + F keyboard shortcut) to activate website's internal search? I want to always use regular Firefox on-page search that i now trigger by left Alt (to show the FF menu), click Edit menu, click Find in page.... (since Ctrl+F is occupied by website's internal search).

When browsing with Firefox, scrolling with the up/down arrow keys intermittently causes the keyboard to be disabled. Trackpad and touchscreen still function, but keyboard becomes completely disabled, requiring a reboot.

This ONLY happens while browsing with Firefox browser. I cannot deliberately reproduce this, but it happens frequently - up to several times a day. It seems to be tied to multiple key hits on the down and/or up keys. This only happens in Firefox, not in any other apps, including Visual Studio.

This is a brand new HP laptop. HP support says that this is a Firefox support issue because it only happens on Firefox and no other programs or scenarios.

Can you please help me to identify, troubleshoot and resolve this issue? I am a software/database engineer but this is a little outside the scope of my knowledge. I should be able to conduct any tests or provide any needed feedback at a useful level with only a reasonable level of hand holding. I suspect that Firefox is somehow inhibiting or disrupting the keyboard driver.

Hello. Our organization is experiencing an issue where sound settings are not carrying over correctly to Firefox. Specifically, this is with speaker settings. In multiple calling platforms (tested in Genesys Cloud and Teams), we are not able to adjust the settings for the speaker that audio plays from. We can adjust the default microphone setting, but not the speaker setting. This is only occurring in Firefox (works fine in Edge and Chrome).

Additionally, we've tried adjusting the default audio settings by going to Windows > Sound settings > App volume and device preferences, and changing the settings specifically for Firefox on this page. This does not work. When we check Teams or Genesys Cloud, it seems like Firefox is just picking any default without a rhyme or reason.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I've recently had a little video window appear in the bottom right corner of my browser screen. I can't find any control link to eliminate it other than closing it manually every time it appears. Where did it come from and how do I get rid of it?

Suddenly on my PC the icon of Firefox turned white on both desktop and taskbar. And whenever I try to open Firefox, it says, "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable." And I didn't make any changes myself. So far it was fine. Now what can/should I do?

I get the following message when going online with Firefox: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Hello. I have an issue with Firefox. Last week Facebook stopped showing images when run on Firefox. These are in the Feed and photos, etc. I tried refreshing, clearing cookies, history and cache. I changed enhanced tracking but nothing stops this. Are there any suggestions to repair this or could it be a bug? I work on Windows 10. Please help.

I received a scam Apple (security) popup (on which I never clicked) and from that point on, some 30+ obsolete tabs congregate across the top Firefox browser window. How do i lose all these unwanted tabs?

I currently have a 'bad/rouge' session of Windows 7 Firefox (don't really know how that happened) open (7 'Windows', each with one empty Tab plus 1 'Window', with only 1 populated tab (Yahoo Mail)! I need to close Firefox in order to restart my laptop (strange things have been happening, including not being able to access the internet)!! On restarting, I want to be able to open Firefox with the previous session I had with my 8 'Windows', each with dozens and dozens of Tabs! Please help, I sorely need those many 'Windows' and Tabs!!!

Firefox slows down when I use web developer tools, I use this whenever I try to save an image on Instagram or other sites that I go to just to save an image or look for the video using the web tools.

Is there a way to fix this issue it lags the browser or it freezes for a second.

Whenever I select tab and then start typing in the page search box it automatically jumps to the URL/Address bar. This is not only annoying but it makes it difficult for me to see what I'm typing, and it often results in unwanted typing errors. I have yet to encounter a single longtime Firefox user who thinks this is a good idea, but I have met several who've decided to drop Firefox and start using Chrome just to be done with it. I've been using Firefox since early 2005 and I've mostly been happy with it but this is just to annoying to continue. I'm complaining because the feature exits, I'm complaining because there's no option to opt for those of us who find it annoying and will never become comfortable with it.

If there is a working fix that I've been unable to find, then please point me to where or what it is so that I can apply it.
