It takes a lot longer than it should to load my home page, MSN. This problem is more pronounced with Firefox than other browsers. What can be done to load the home page faster? And, in general to load websites? Can someone help? Thank you.

I'm running Windows 10, Firefox Release 126. I had the same issue with the previous version of Firefox. I was hoping 126, would fix the Chase Bank issue.. But it did not I read several articles from FF users, I checked my User Agent Settings, they are correct. Called Chase, they said use Chrome as Firefox does not have the 'needed code' to work with Firefox. Been using Firefox with Chase for at least 5 years.

Tell me how to fix your browser so I may access x.com again or I stop using Firefox forever.

The Lower Toolbar is quite handy, with for example Roboform.

Unfortunately, the way it's implemented, it comes above the lower part of the browser window, instead of being inserted at the bottom while the browser windows height is reduced.

That hides the search box when you type Control-F.

It would be nice if this could be addressed in a future release. I am using Firefox Developer 127.0b2.

I was browsing a webpage that turned out to be in Portuguese, and I was looking for how to translate it, but the internet indicated that Firefox has built in transation! However, neither the Translate Toolbar Icon nor the Translate menu option appear, even if I visit a site that absolutely should be translatable (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Firefox)

Additionally, if I go to Settings -> General, there is a Translations section, but if I click the Settings button, there are no languages in any of the boxes and no option to add any.

I am on Firefox 126.0 for Windows.

Here are the things I have tried:

• Restarting Firefox
• Rebooting my PC
• Disabling all my extensions
• Running Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode
• Clearing my Startup Cache
• Performing a "Refresh Firefox"
• Toggling and Untoggling browser.translations.enable and browser.translations.automaticallyPopup

Hello, about 1-2 weeks ago a very strange problem occurred - on some pages videos don't play at all or play without a sound. Can anyone help me with this strange situation? For example, every video on youtube.com plays without a problem; on facebook.com every video plays with no sound at all; on some other pages video doesn't play at all. This problem is only with firefox, if I try to open the same videos with another browser everything is fine.

Running Firefox 126.0, which Firefox' About link says is current. Dell laptop running (current) Win10 Pro.

As recently as last Wednesday (15 May 24), everything was normal. Since yesterday (16 May), on the Wall Street Journal site, after I have logged in, I no longer have access to articles' comment threads. The Show Conversation button shows 0 comments (which is erroneous), and when I click the button, it changes to Hide Conversation (which is normal), but nothing else happens--just white space and no comments or comment text entry field.

On Fox News, the comment thread doesn't display, and there's not even displayed a link to a comment thread. Until yesterday, the thread normally displayed, but required login to comment. Since yesterday, logging in changes nothing: the comment thread still doesn't display at all.

On X (nee Twitter), when I click the login icon, I get the usual login box--but it's solid black with only a rotating arrow signifying "loading." It never finishes loading. An added fillip: X, as recently as last Wednesday, displayed in its usual black text on a white background. Now it displays as white text on a black background. I can click on X links sent to me and get that particular X post to display, but I cannot log in.

When I go to those sites in Edge, everything behaves normally: I have access to comment threads, and I can log in to X. One exception: X displays as white text on a black background on Edge, also. This doesn't seem to be an X thing, though; on my wife's laptop (Firefox 126.0), running WIn11Pro, her X display is the "normal" black text on white background.

I haven't changed any settings in Firefox. I do have a couple of ad blockers, and I've turned those off, one at a time and both together; that had no effect.

How can I get things back to normal in Firefox?

Hello there, for past few days I'm having issues mainly on Twitch.tv - the streams do work fine, but whole website is displayed as text - Avatars, emotes, badges are displaying as text, or don't display at all, I'm attaching screenshots as examples. What I've tried - restarting PC, router, full re-install of Firefox, disabling all add-ons and uinstalling them (7tv and FFZ), private mode, troubleshooting mode, creating a new profile in Firefox, checked firewall settings, checked AV settings and did multiple scans - nothing was found, tried changing Firefox security Settings, also cleared cache and cookies.

I think that's everything - I was doing everything that was in the article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems

Regarding other websites - this is completely random, mail works, some websites also do, but on some it gets stuck, like for example when I have to do a 2FA somewhere and get a pop-up window to click "login" or type a code, it just gets stuck and nothing shows up.

Not sure if this helps, but exactly same issues appear on different browsers - Chrome, Edge, but only on PC. I tried Firefox on mobile and it worked just fine.

If I can provide more details please let me know, I did attach the "Troubleshooting Information" so hopefully this also helps.

The Copilot website text field is the only text field I have encouraged where typing text does not get automatically underlined for spelling mistakes. I have the box ticked for 'Check your spelling as you type' in the general settings, and I have tried changing the about:config layout.spellcheckDefault value to 2. Nothing has worked.

The spell checking feature for the Copilot website text field can be enabled, but you have to manually enable it each time by right clicking the text field and making sure "Check Spelling" is ticked. It is quite annoying.

The "Check Spelling" setting on every other text field from every other website like this very text field I'm typing into right here right now for this firefox support forum, has the  "Check Spelling" setting ticked by default.  

Anybody else experiencing this issue?

Whenever I close my browser, it will show but when i open a new tab, it is gone and when i check settings, it is unchecked. I tried enabling both Shortcuts and Recent activity but only Recent activity is saved and Shortcuts is not saved.

Hi. I am having problems with pages in some websites not loading - eg games on Facebook, my account page in my bank website, etc. Facebook works fine but games do not load anymore (just get the loading message but the circle just keeps spinning, and I can login to my bank but it won't load any further pages. The games problem first started around February with one or two games, but has subsequently become worse so the ONLY game that will load is Happy Acres! The problem with my bank (and a couple of others) started about a week or so ago. I've been (reluctantly) using Microsoft Edge the past couple of days with no problem other than it's sloooooow!! Was thinking of downloading Chrome but haven't done so yet. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful. Many thanks in advance.

After reading just a few questions and their answers here I realize that I'm never going to learn everything I need to know to feel comfortable or even enjoy using my desktop computer. As for my cell phone, I've never liked using it and unless someone helps me learn how to use all the available features in Firefox (plus everything else in a smart phone which I call that stupid phone) then I will probably end up throwing it in the garbage and will sit in waiting rooms reading a book or magazine instead of doing whatever it is everyone else is doing on their phones. Most likely they're texting which I just learned how to do a few months ago. I never thought texting was necessary for me to know but now it seems to be the only way my adult children keep in touch these days.

How can I possibly learn everything I can or should do with Firefox? I barely know how to use all the basic features even though I've used Firefox for years. Your updates come so frequently that I will never be able to catch up! Why don't you offer some courses strictly for seniors who need a lot or even just a little bit of guidance when it comes to tackling technological issues? I dislike new technology but we have to use it, don't we? So, make life easier for us older folks and offer a few virtual courses to help us learn what we need to know. Come on Mozilla you can do it. You offer the technology now show us how to use it!

I was having issues with my laptop so I decided to do a System Restore to a previous date. Once completed, I opened Firefox and tried to restore previous sessions, but none were found. I also noticed that the shortcuts were blank, possibly uninstalled. I clicked on shortcuts and nothing opened. I downloaded Firefox again and reinstalled, but now I cannot restore my previous sessions. I tried to restore going to History>Manage History>Import and Backup>Restore>Choose File and selecting previous.jsonlz4 and recovery.jsonlz4 file with a date from last month, but again nothing happens. I searched around for answers, but only came across instructions to compress jsonlz4 file and decompress using mozlz4 without any instructions on how to use it.

What else can I do?

Please advise how to prevent extensions, especially 'dark reader, ads blocker, etc. from loading thus forcing me to refresh Firefox desktop browser constantly? Thanks. Petar - drmitov@gmail.com

The PCH.com website says that I need to remove (whitelist) Adblock from their site in order to be able to play the games on that site. Firefox extension site says that they have removed Adblock....I need help!

I am travelling. I used a public wi-fi and norton VPN most recently. All my bookmarks are missing, altho they did appear on the toolbar briefly in the background. So where do I find them to restore them to the toolbar?
