Installed & uninstalled Mailbird with Thunderbird remaining on pc,now each time Tbird starts have to select as default. Fix? Tbird is default in registry.

Thunderbird is default email prog. I installed & uninstalled Mailbird. Now each time I start Thunderbird the System Integration dialog box appears and I have to re-select it as my default. It is listed in the registry as the default, in Windows 7 Control Panel as the default. No Mailbird files are appearing on my pc. I've used CCleaner to clean registry of some Mailbird entries. However I still have to select Thunderbird as default each time I open it. Help!?
