Update two identical Firefox' - one succeeds, other not available
Hello,
We have two identical Motorola Moto G6 Android smartphones with identical up-to-date firmware (Android 8.0.0, OPSS27.82-87-8).
One has the (at this moment) most up to date Firefox version (66.0.1). The other has version 65.0.1 installed and cannot be updated to the newer (and safer) version. How can this be?
I have already tried completely removing the app and reinstalling it from Google Play. It then installs the 65.0.1 version, no update in sight.
Can you help us, please?
Kind regards,
FWieP

This is how Google Play does staged rollouts. There is no way for the user or Mozilla to control who or which devices get the update when using staged rollouts. Once Mozilla is happy with the early data from the rollout the release will be sent to 100% of the users.
