What type of SIM card should I buy to take pictures with ZTEOPEN?
Never used the photo option with ZTEOPEN purchased 10/2013. Anything else I need to take pictures and download them?

The sim-card is only used for the mobile network.
To store your pictures you can use the internal memory but it is not recommended due to storage constraint.
You should consider buying a MicroSD card. If you only want to take pictures with your phone then you can purchase a relatively small MicroSD, 8GB will give you plenty of room.

Thank you so much! If I wanted to do a video now and then, how many GB would be appropriate?
I haven't tried video shooting with my ZTE OPEN-C. Already the pictures are not very good, so I'm definitely not goind to shot videos.
Depending on how long your video will be, usually you can consider that 8GB is sufficient as long as you copy your footages on a computer from time to time.
Keep in mind that MIcroSD is teh format used by many smartphones so if one day you purchase a new one then mst likely you'll be able to keep your card. Take a big one if you can afford it.
The ZTE Open-C can handle MicroSD card up to 32GB.
You never know when you might need/want to video something.
