Why does Printing from a WEb Page always result in unreadable characters in the HEADER and FOOTER of the printind Web Page? How can this be corrected?

I have a BROTHER MFC 9440CN LASER Printer. Ever since I have used Mozilla, every time I print a WEB PAGE or a selection from a Web Page, the HEADER and FOOTER of the printed page contains unreadable characters rather than the usual ID information about the web page (date, web address, etc.). If I switch to INTERNET EXPLORER, the same Web Page will print out normally with readable characters in the header and footer!! How can I correct this??
