Firefox not launching on windows 11
Hello, My Firefox browser stopped launching. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app without success. I tried deleting all the related folders and ran ccleaner to remove moziila links. still without success. I like using Firefox as my preferred browser. The last time the app worked was two days ago. I started having this problem yesterday. I downloaded the latest version from the website.

Parental controls is known to silently block firefox.exe from starting in order to enforce web content filtering. Make sure your Microsoft account is not being controlled by a parent account.
I do not have any parental controls active. Firefox was working on Tuesday of this week. This just started happened yesterday. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Also delete all folders related to mozilla.

What's funny is that I just had the same issue with Waterfox. I was playing around with Desktops on Windows, I rarely do it because it not like KDE. Waterfox was open on the 2nd Desktop.
You can check for issues caused by a corrupted or incomplete Visual C++ installation that is missing runtime components (Redistributable Packages) required by Firefox, especially VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.

Download the latest vc_redist.x64 and vc_redist.x86 files.
You need to reboot the computer.
