Development on Firefox OS for mobile devices is announced as stopped. Someone know what's about the Smart TV series? Are support and update for the TVs also stopped? Would be very bad for the very good and very expensive Smart-TV series from Panasonic. Any official statements about that?

Firefox OS development has not stopped, Mozilla is just "stopping work to build and ship smartphones through carrier partners", please see https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2015/12/09/firefox-os-pivot-to-connected-devices/

Support for TV is continuing as before, with new models planned.
