New sites online (foxnews.com, newsmax.com and others) will not load comments. Had to remove shield and try several things. Still a problem. Everything before 146.0 worked. I'm sorry I did the upgrade as all this takes too much time.

I have two audio outputs I'm trying to use. I want my main output (device A) to stay as the default, but have Firefox play out of the other (device B). There is no option within the browser's settings to change the output device, so I am controlling them through Windows' Volume Mixer. If I set device B as the system default, it works, and it allows me to change Firefox to play from any output. However, if anything else is set as the system default and I set Firefox to play from device B, it doesn't work. It seems like it ignores only specifically that one device, and only when it is set at an app-specific level. It works on all my other outputs no matter which is the default. Even if I have device B as the system default, then at the app-specific level, set FF to any other device, then select device B, it ignores this and continues to play out of whatever device it played from last. The ONLY way I can get Firefox to play audio from device B is with device B as the system default. It's already disappointing that I can't control this directly from FF settings, but the fact that it's also ignoring my OS settings is really frustrating. I've already contacted Windows support, and they say the problem is with Firefox since all my audio devices are working fine. If anyone can tell me a way to just manage this setting properly in Firefox, some way to get Firefox to recognize the device, or some way to allow my windows settings to take priority over whatever FF is trying to do, that would be greatly appreciated. Why does not FF recognize that my OS is windows 11, not incorrectly windows 8? This prevents me from updating to latest FF browser versions newer than 115.37 to 128 and higher. Now, with the popularity of AI, my bank no longer supports FF version 115.37 or lower browsers. Might it be FF is not seeing the correct IP address for windows 11 OS? However, I see nowhere on my FF account to let me or FF correct this error. If this cannot be corrected, this I (and thousands of other users) will have to abandon FF for other more up to date browsers because it looks like google, ms and apple are herding their clients to stop recognizing other browsers, which do not support AI protocols.

I use Norton Password Manager. I use Firefox most of the time as my main browser. I added the Firefox extension for Norton Password Manager when I got my new laptop, but it never does anything but hang when I try to utilize it. Today I finally turned off the extension and just ran the Password Manager as a new tab on the browser and had no problem with it running. However, it doesn't give me full use of the PM. (It does at least give me my passwords and user names, which the extension wasn't doing.) I keep notes with some of my passwords that are important to me. Using the PM on Firefox on this new laptop, I've found that none of the notes show up in the windows. Is there something I haven't turned off or on that's causing the problem I'm having? Hi everyone, I just set nice custom colors for the websites. Problem is, not every website looks good then, on some it gets messy. Is there and option somewhere to toggle it off, for particular websites, while still keeping the setting on for the rest of the internet?

I just bought a new PC, part by part, and used my storage devices from my old PC. I formatted the windows drive and am on a fresh installation of windows 11. I tried to log in to my mozilla account, but couldn't remember my password so I used the "Forgot password" function. When I logged in, no bookmarks or history was saved. Is it possible to restore my synced data?

I was using my computer normally until I noticed one of my applications had an error. I could not close the error message the normal way, so I decided it would be a good idea to hit the "end task" on the error message, which caused a blue screen error. "No worries," I thought, "I'll be able to get back to where I was right after my computer restarts." Oh, how wrong I was. Upon logging in to my computer, Firefox opened to... the screen I got when i first installed it? As it turns out, the Mozilla folder in my AppData folder was completely erased, along with all its contents. Is there a way to get my data back?

I have created two profiles using the new functionality that is accessed using the "hamburger" or three horizontal lines menu. I want to open one profile at times, but the other at different times. I can only specify a default profile for initial browser start, or to have the browser make me choose each time. Either of these options mean that I have to go through extra steps to launch any profile beside the default. This effectively makes the new profiles less useful to me than the profile manager that has been around for much longer.

Searching for help online has led me to several suggestions to create shortcuts that use the -P "profile name" switch for each profile. This is out of date because the profiles I can access from the command line bear no connection to the ones I have created as described in the above paragraph. They are only the ones I have created using the (old) profile manager from the profile manager in about:settings.

Did I miss something, in other words is it possible to do something similar with the new container profiles as I can with the original config profiles?

Greetings ! For the last two days I have not been able to access Facebook or Amazon websites. When I use a shortcut or try to type in the URL, the display says something like using Google or such when I have my default set to Firefox ( And I confimed that it is set as such). I can click on a tab or reach anything else ok. Also, those two are accessible through Chrome or Edge ok on here and also on my phone and tablet.I have cleared cache and such multiple time and removed extensions. It is just those two sites on this device on Firefox. I think there was an update recently too.. Thanks for an assistance anyone can give. Cherry
