Script errors
Users need an easy, invisible fix. The seemingly infinite support sections on this topic is a swamp. This has become a daily problem since W10. I've used Ff for years and am a contributor. Do I need to find a new browser?

Hi cleartheroomband, while you were traversing the swamp, did you check the suggestions in this help article:
Warning Unresponsive script - What it means and how to fix it
On Windows 10 (and all the way back to Vista), you also may want to try disabling the protected mode feature of the Flash player plugin. That feature has security benefits, but seems to have serious compatibility issues on some systems. You can disable it using the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. On the right side, find "Shockwave Flash" and click the More link. Then uncheck the box for "Enable Adobe Flash protected mode" and try that for a day to see whether it helps.
Thanks, but that is the beginning of the swamp. FF needs to address this in such a way as to eliminate the constant error messages so non-tech types don't have to constantly deal with it. This requires a permanent software fix.
Okay, if you get tired of waiting for that, please see my first reply.
Since support volunteers work with the Firefox we have right now, you may want to give Mozilla feedback on future fixes to Firefox on the following page (click the sad face):
