when searching something in google i cant get the option to search for a specific time period like last 24 times, last month etc.

i can understand that but why other browsers like opera dolphin chrome display search tools
Google sends a different website to Opera, Dolphin and Chrome. Websites are not a static thing any more, they can change depending on a large number of variables including the browser you are using.
