Firefox has been crashing repeatedly for over 2 hours. Crashing during start-up, page loading, random for no reason at all. Tried safe mode restart - still crashes. tired to reset Mozilla - still crashes. This is a serious issue and need attention as I use Mozilla to do business transactions and this is costing me money. The more it cost the worse I feel.

Greetings uriahhodgson,

If you have started it in safe mode and it still crashes, there's a strong chance it's none of your add-ons or extensions. Be sure your Firefox is up to date. You may have to re-install Firefox; seeing as it may be a corrupted program file.

Thanks, please update us if it helps re-installing it.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
