"Yahoo is the preferred search engine for Firefox. Switch now. Yes. Not now." How do I keep this message from ever appearing again?
I have already clicked "not now" but it reappears after a while. I don't have any yahoo toolbars or extensions. I'm using Firefox 37.0.2, on Windows 7

Firefox never displays this message on its own. The message is either being displayed by an add-on, some software on your computer, or by Yahoo.com directly.
In order to better assist you with your issue please provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Thank you!
Try to toggle the browser.search.geoSpecificDefaults pref to false on the about:config page.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
