Google street view still black in FF 36, even in safe mode - how to fix?
For some time Google street view has been showing a black screen. I have tried all the suggestions: and today updated to the latest version (36), tried in safe mode, but the problem persists. I'm using Vista 32 bit. Has anyone been able to solve this problem please?

Streetview probably works for most people.
Try using Internet Explorer IE does it work ?
If it works in IE but not Firefox it could be a Firefox or FlashPlayer issue.

- If you do find a forum thread where this problem is reported on Firefox 36 but not on IE maybe you could provide the link.
If it is Firefox only we may need to file a bug. If other people see this problem.

- Double Click on the map on the bottom left.
All it is doing is opening a map in streetview, but at least we all know we are testing the same page.
Street view works in IE 9 OK, but not in FF 36.
Streetview light version doesn't help.
I have turned hardware acceleration off - that does not help, or does using the old version of Google maps.
Clicking on that link to Portland US gives me street view OK, however if I then go back to maps, scroll across to the UK, select street view there I again get the black screen.
However if I close Google maps, then reopen it, scroll across to Portland US and select street view I again get a black screen. Weird!
