I cannot connect with my on-line banking site. When I try, I get the message "Bad Request--Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. I am able to access the site using another browser, so there cannot be a problem with the site itself. This situation has only existed since Firefox did an update. So, the problem must lie with Firefox. If it is not fixed, then I fear that I will have to discontinue using Firefox as my online browser. I do not know why but since yesterday I don't have the Orange Box in my Thunderbird home page to create a new message. I have to go into account and click on new message ( with a pen icon ). How do I get the orange box back. I have the orange area in the other pages like addresses, calendar, and the like, but not for new messages. How could I get it back because I installed a new copy of Thunderbird but it did not work. I am installing Thunderbird from official GitHub releases and I am wondering why I am getting info from Obtainium that thunderbird-14.0 is something called "pseudo-release".

Can someone explain me this term regarding GitHub apk files? Is it OK to install it?

Thunderbird 138/139, Windows 11 Pro 23H2. While composing a message, after a few lines the app freezes. Both the compose window and the main TB window freeze. Only opening the Windows Task manager allows me to close them. This did not happen with earlier versions.

If I save the message every few seconds while composing I can get most of the message back and continue after restarting TB. This behavior is the same in both the normal and troubleshooting TB modes. I can't even find a crash log to send to Mozilla.

Where shall I look next?

Now, after the latest update (October 18 – 144.0 (Build #2016119303)), keyboard isn't "detected" by pages. So when KB is open, can't scroll to the bottom of the page. Or similarly, pages which have a message box at the bottom, KB overlays that box and everything below it. Quick test shows that only the New Tab screen and URL bar know about the keyboard status.

Tested on different browsers with different phones. Firefox for Android overlays keyboards on top of the webpage instead of resizing the viewport. This partially blocks the view of responsive webpages and most times blocks the view of text input boxes while typing.

Image attached shows how the keyboard is overlaid on top of the end of the footer of the Mozilla website. Last image shows a Chrome screenshot for comparison.

New version 144.0 just arrived and a bad surprise for me. I'm often using the shortcuts in the start page, but these are limited now to the first 8 icons and can not be scrolled. To see the others I need to click on Show All. This seems to me as a very bad update Up through Firefox Android 143 Shortcuts on the new tab page could be quickly side-scrolled, but that appears to be removed in 144, which I find significantly more clumsy. Please restore the prior behavior, at least and I hope it will be corrected Thank you. and copy and paste is broken on android mobile (Sorry I had to blur sole of my pint shortcuts)

I am interested in going to Windows 11, but I don't know what procedure to use to do that; all the info is confusing To me, the info makes it look like I need to buy another Computer, even though I have a perfectly good operating DELL Inspiron 1 that is not that old, 4 years old with a new hard drive.

We have poor eyesight, so in vertical display mode, we could really benefit from having grid lines (at least horizontally) to visually distinguish each message. We have read various solutions on the Internet, but none seems to work at least not in dark theme mode, which is the default for a great many people with vision impairments (or just plain tired eyes). Perhaps some solutions that once worked have been uprooted, so to speak, during the course of Thunderbird updates.

We are used to having grid lines in Outlook (desktop). We are currently exploring switching to Thunderbird, but it needs to support our vision needs. For us, this capability is fundamental, not optional.

We are comfortable making config entries, creating and working in userChrome.css, and the like. We would be grateful for any guidance in this regard.

Hello- Wondering how to turn off the "skip to main content" that continually pops-up on some web sites. This is a problem on a single Firefox installation and I cannot figure out which setting this could be.

Since eclipse 140+ rolled out there is no longer a high contrast colour override, I dug through all the settings in case it was moved but I am either not seeing it or it's not there anymore. Does anyone have an option or work around for enabling high contrast without me having to roll back my version or install a different email client?

Now that my browser is Firefox I cannot get to my email or anything else on my computer. What must I do??? At one point I was signing in to Mozilla Firefox and it said that account already exists. This is very frustrating for an older geriatric. Please send me instructions to get back where I was. My present email address is [edited from public] @gmail.com.

Hello there I have Thunderbird for Android, version 10.1, and in every folder, all mail, both read and unread, have almost the same appearance. It's not easy to tell which ones in the list are read and which are unread. Is there any setting to turn the unread messages in the folder look highlighted, or more bold, or something different anyway than the rest? Because this way it's very inconvenient, which makes me considering turning back to Outlook. Thanks in advance
