I would like to configure Firefox enterprise to block installation of add-ons but also a whitelist for specific ones we want to allow.
Hello,
I would like to inquire about the possibility of what I want to achieve in the question referenced. Google Chrome has the ability to block extensions, with a whitelist that you can maintain to allow specific ones that our org requires. I am trying to replicate this in Firefox, as we would like to support both browsers, but I am coming up empty.
I tried different methods using json policy configuration, but I can only globally block installations, there is no whitelist option. The closest I can get is to install specific ones, but that list will get pretty large and bloated. I don't want all our users to have a billion add-ons installed just to get around this obstacle. Any insight would be appreciated
