Is this about the Firefox Lockwise app on a mobile device or about Firefox on desktop or Firefox on a mobile device ?

The Lockwise app for mobile devices use a Firefox account to retrieve the logins from the Sync server (you need to use Sync on a desktop device to sync the logins) and do not store the logins locally unlike the Firefox Lockwise Password Manager that stores the logins in the profile folder.

Note that you lose data on the Sync server if you reset the password of the Firefox Account.
