windows 10 pro overriding page setup

Ever since Windows automatically updated Windows 10 to Windows 10 pro on my PC, it has overridden Firefox's own print settings.

When trying to get rid of the page number etc showing in the print out - in Firefox's page setup it is set to 'blank' on all these, but page urls, numbers etc are printing now. So something is overriding the Firefox setting. When I change the margins in Firefox's page setup, these just reverts back to the default settings again being overridden from else where.

I can't control the paper size from within Firefox any more. This I have to set from the Operating Systems (Window's 10 pro) main Printer preferrences. But changing this in Firefox did just revert to the Window's default each time. So I have the default set as A4 now as Windows default print page size, but why can't this be set in Firefox any more?

When I go to print preview, it comes up with the error message "selected printer cannot be found". Although in the print settings the correct printer is selected. The printer is fine, works from all other software no probs.

So, what has Windows 10 pro done to Firefox? Something in Windows 10 pro is over-overwriting all the Firefox settings. I am on the latest Firefox download, re-downloaded it in case that was the problem.

How can I get back control to Firefox? Any ideas?
