Can't open Firefox. Error XPCOM

Can't open Firefox normally. Removed Firefox folder from C:\Program Files and C:|Program Files(x86). Did not remove Firefox maintenance folder from C:\Program Files(x86). Firefox does open in Safe Mode. Used article support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Firefox-is-stuck-in-safe-mode. Went through all the steps of when problem doesn't occur in Safe Mode. Turned off hardware acceleration. Switched to default theme. Disabled all extensions. Tested for faulty extensions. Tried to update faulty extension, but no update. Checked extension settings.

Did not delete maintenance folder in C:\Program Files (x86) because thought it contained profile folder and if I uninstalled it, wouldn't be able to do clean install of Firefox. Could this be the problem? I don't know where to go from here.
