Okay I do not trust Google whatsoever! I do not want to download anything through Google Play no longer!and my phone Of course because they're Androids are made with Google's and Facebook all in my phone the basically runs everything! And [removed] Mark Zuckerberg and anybody that works for him you're not American! basically it stops the download on this page take me directly to Google Play I also use expressvpn on all of my devices I want to know should I do Firefox Android or a different one I downloaded the DuckDuckGo browser so do I need to fire Fox browser also I want your input? if you give me your time? in my expressvpn newsletter I was reading about Rooting my Android Taking all of Samsung's [removed] Google's [removed] in Facebook's [removed] Im just over all the tracking,spam viruses,and its constantly getting worse! Don't believe I'll ever buy another Samsung phone again that's all I've ever bought! every time you update them they take a little more rights and privacy! been watching them do it for the past few years! all of their [removed] out of it all their tracking and listening! I'd like a second opinion about that rooting a phone expressvpn has all the apps a list of apps you can replace the ones you take out I just don't know if you know anything about it ?have no complaints about expressvpn they are pretty good how does your Firefox systems work with expressvpn I basically don't want no tracking by government no tracking by all these companies selling my profile to companies to try to get me to buy their [removed] I like to ❌ one of them guys to be real! fake ass Americans! ads and just basically stealing my whole being that's how it feels! It would be very kind from the dev's to add an shortcut for android smart tv's like newpipe and libretube are currently doing it. It should be (hopefully) a small code snippet.

This is (hopefully) done by the AndroidManifest.xml with:

Hello, I already have the stable release of Firefox for Android installed on my Samsung Galaxy A50 smartphone. What exactly will happen if Firefox Beta for Android is installed alongside the stable release of Firefox for Android? Will there be new app settings for the Beta version on the phone or are the stable release and the Beta app settings combined? I am signed into YouTube in the stable release Firefox for Android version. Once the Beta version is installed, do I have to sign out of the stable release version and sign into YouTube on the Beta version? The stable release version of Firefox for Android has unresolved issues, especially regarding YouTube, that the Beta version configurations may be able fix. Please let me know the answers to these questions and any other concerns I should know about before I install the Beta version of Firefox for Android alongside the stable release version. Thank you.

Due to the Firewall of our government, we Chinese couldn't download Firefox Android on Google Play Store without violating the law. And, neither Github nor F-droid provides the service for users in China to download the app directly.

How could we download it?

I have a few questions about the storage space used by Firefox v60.00 on Android 6.0.

Here is a picture of the storage space used up by Firefox on my phone

Cache has been cleared.

Data however is using up a large amount of space (1.3GB).

uBlock origin version 1.16.6 is the only plugin/addon I have installed.

I don't have any downloads.

By comparison Chrome browser on my phone takes up less than 100MB of storage space.

Questions

What is a normal clean install size for firefox on Android ?

What is deleted if I clear the 1.3GB of Data? Will my bookmarks be deleted. Will uBlock origin be deleted (my only installed plugin).

How can I backup my bookmarks to a file?

How do I determine what is using up all this storage space in Firefox, and prevent it from happening again?

Was painstakingly transferring my collections of bookmarked links from my old Android phone to my new one (please fix this so entire collections can be moved as one, rather than individual components). Not halfway through yet; all was going well, and suddenly I got the message "Unable to send - Retry." Multiple tries; no further success. Nothing had changed re the wifi connection for either phone. Hoping this is something simple.

How can download any webpage as PDF for offline sharing in new updates. In earlier version I could do it from: tools-save as PDF. But now the save as PDF does not work.

Please solve the issue.

Android 13 / Firefox 111.1.0

Since a short while it seems that Firefox for Android opens pdf-files directly in the browser instead of offering the download option (as it used to be). My Samsung Tab6 Light shows the pdf in compressed fonts, thus it is mostly unreadable. How can I download the pdf instead of viewing it? Or: How can I download the pdf to save it on my device? If I tap the opened pdf a function 'Share' is offered, but then when I try to share via Email nothing is shared!??
