I have a Xiaomi phone with resolution 2400x1080 use Firefox on it. And I have annoying issue with YouTube and other video players. Is there is a way how can I hide notch in full-screen video mode? I can do it in setting, but it works only for vertical orientation. Please look at my attached images to understand what I meant.

Using the Android app, 105.1.0 (Build #2015904299), if watching a video in the browser, I occasionally notice video/audio desync issues, probably a few hundred ms but very noticeable nonetheless. Whenever it occurs, I try other browsers but never encounter the issue. I have disabled all plugins, I have cleared the app cache, but I'm not sure what else to do. I'm usually wearing Bluetooth headphones when watching videos, I'd have to do something testing to see if it occurs without. Googling the issue, I can't find solutions specific to the Android app. Are there other things I can do to troubleshoot this, or a known solution? Can provide any additional info requested.

I'm getting pixelated square and background images on Firefox for Android . I also did same post 5 months ago but issue is still not fixed. I have flagship killer device so my phone can render graphics so it's must be App issue.i'm attaching screenshot here so Devs can fix this issue .

YouTube videos cannot be played in 4K resolution on Firefox; the maximum supported resolution is 1080p. However, when using Chrome browser, 4K playback is supported.

I am trying to set my tablet up for use with jpay.com video visits which are live with the prison system in Georgia how do I do that it continuously tells me that the browser is not up to date through Firefox which it is and indeed to download the latest version of their securus vre which I have done. Dear Firefox Group! I Have two problems with my Firefox... The first, is with YouTube... Whan I view video in Landscape mode, can't exit from it, to "classic" portrait mode... Firefox continue everything in Landscape mode... The second problem is the slow website loading, with good Cellular, an good WiFi connection too.... May the problem is cooperation of the latest phone update and Firefox...

Hello world! (Sorry; had to.)

I just started using Firefox for Android, as a workaround to the problems I'm having with playing my YouTube playlists.

But, I'm having several problems in Firefox for Android.

1. Playlists (the actual lists of videos) cover the video that's currently playing. My workaround to this is to play in full screen mode, but that brings up problem

2. Full screen videos automatically switch to landscape orientation, despite system settings, with no apparent way to switch back to portrait orientation without also exiting full screen mode. I've tried rotating my phone with auto rotate on/off; neither setting has any affect on the orientation.

What's extremely frustrating about this is that any workaround is actually a workaround to a workaround to a workaround; it's workaroundception.

What I really really want is to be able to simply play my playlist/listen to it without having to jump through hoops and without having to burn through data like a bonfire burns through sticks.

IMO, the best solution would be to download the entire playlist:

...in one go, and stick it on an mp3 player like it's 2009. So far, the only YouTube to mp3 sites I've found only download individual videos; not whole playlists. (And that's not really a Mozilla issue anyway; the Mozilla issues are the unwanted rotation and the video stack covering up the currently playing video.)

Yeah YouTube is really really jumping every time you go watch something on it doesn't play correctly. I believe it needs to have some work done to it if you could let me know what it needs to have done I thank you very much.

Every time I'm trying to stream video like live sports the video lags so much. I've tried to reinstall the app and run it with no addon ( even though I only use 2 addons) and problem still persists... I'm using a Samsung S21 Ultra.
