I have the latest version of Android 13 and Firefox up to date on my phone, but there's been some weird behavior when playing videos as of late. Videos refuse to properly go fullscreen now. When I tap the fullscreen button, the video moves to the center of the screen but stays in portrait orientation, which is obviously not what I want. In addition, picture-in-picture is not working at all, and the notification control panel (that lets you pause and play minimized videos from the notification) is not appearing even though notifications are not disabled for Firefox. Videos still play, but almost none of the features for them are working. What is going on? Can anyone help?

HELP! My mobile data usage spiked as of June 20th and has continued at unprecedented levels almost every day since. My historic daily usage for the past many years has been around 4 MB and is now 95MB. and busting through my 2GB/month limit. This is ALL due to Firefox! What happened? Something strange happened on June 19th, when my mobile date usage recorded three separate usage figures instead of the single usage figure for all days previously. June 19th showed 2 usage figures and June 30th showed 3.

Hello Mozilla team.

I need your help with the following: I recently upgraded my device and I got Samsung S24+. Unfortunately Mozilla is not working properly. Whenever I open a new tab or open a link via my email account it is flashing constantly without being able to browse as usual.

Any help? (I have already unistalled / reinstalled the app.

When a private tab is opened, it lets me know in the silent notifications on my phone with the "swipe or tap to close" the tab/s. However, once I close the private tab that notification remains. When I click or swipe the notification it goes for a second and comes back despite not having a private tab open. Even with normal tabs open it does the same thing. Force stopping the app gets rid of it but the second a private tab is opened it returns.

I understand I can just turn off that notification but it's useful to have. Was just wondering if there is a fix or setting anyone knows of or how I can report this to Mozilla?

Websites are mostly reporting that my browser Firefox Android latest needs advanced or enhanced Javascript support and about:config no longer works.

All sites working in Microsoft Edge for Android.

Briefly, when openning a link that should redirect to a WhatsApp chat, it says - after pressing open chat - WhatsApp not installed. Why? Note: In chrome it is working normally.

After searching something and getting result clicking any link starts loading and after loading takes me back to the search page itself, and clicking again (2nd time) takes me to he page I am trying to open.

The soft touch(or short touch?) feature on the website doesn't seem to work on Firefox. Compared to chrome, Samsung Internet, Brave, Vivaldi

In other browsers, if you lightly touch a post on a community site, etc., the post will highlight or display a preview image, but Firefox does not show this feature, only displays a system window, such as copying links, when pressed strongly.

i use Firebox on my Huawei Y6s and have oermanen problems withvlogin and captchas, because they claim, I have Firefox 25 installed

My version is

And was only update 3 days ago.

Note: i have no Addons installed and about:config does not work here.

How can this be solved?

I've already described the issue on the XDA forum, but nothing has been resolved and the problem is still there and I've read about security vulnerabilities in the browser and it could have fallen into this one Party I don't know anymore. but since the version with the ending 17, I don't remember exactly now. hello. I am a user who uses Firefox 123 in Android 14.

There is a problem with writing posts based on HTML editors on the site I usually use.

The editor is in the form of Wysiwyg, and if the image is inserted through the editor, it is impossible to continue to enter the text after the element.

Even if I try to touch the right side of the image and keep input from the right side of the image, the cursor(blinking '|') refuse to go back to the image.

Can I solve this problem? If I need About:config settings, I'm willing to use Firefox beta or nightly.

Install often does not work nearly as well as the web page. For example, spelling bee "installed" on my Samsung tab A7, has difficulty accepting taps. Only about 1 in 3 taps will register a letter. On my brand new Pixel 7A, the spelling bee app is not in dark mode, even though it is in the browser. And my entire phone is dark mode. Also, I can't click on the share or overflow menus. Installing the New York times games page has the same problems. And last, on my pixel 7a, the USGS earthquakes app jumps around all over the place making it useless. It would be nice to have both options, "install" and "add to home screen" in case the install fails.

When not in fullscreen, visualViewport updates correctly. However in fullscreen mode visualViewport remains fixed and never changes. Is this a bug? It's creating an issue for my webapp which has a fixed text entry element at the bottom of the fullscreen element. I have to detect the visualviewport changing when the keyboard shows otherwise it is completely obscured. Please assist me.

The enter apple id flashes (see attached) for 0.1 seconds and it immediately goes to forgot password. That doesnt work well either but if I change the pw, i still cant log in.

I'm following the instructions to set Firefox nightly as my default browser, but when I go to settings and try to switch the toggle to "set as default browser" instead of doing it, it just opens a new tab with the instruction. I got up to 4 identical tabs before I gave up. I know how to do it, it's just malfunctioning.

In a separate issue, I have had Firefox Beta for about a year on my Kindle Fire, always worked great. Since the latest update, it won't even open. The screen pops up for a second, then immediately closes. I uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue. I installed regular Firefox, no issue. Then I found nightly, installed with no issue (other than the problem listed above).
