I have a Blackview Tab16 (10" screen), which I bought last year; it was running Firefox quite happily until a couple of months ago. Now when I click on the icon, I get a sort of 'welcome' screen (with some message about a search widget?) for a fraction of a second, then FF closes and I get an error message saying 'Sorry. Firefox had a problem and crashed.' The version of FF is 126.0. I was told to try clearing the cache, but there is nothing there to clear! The tablet is running Android 12 / DoKe OS V3.0.

I have an 8" Blackview tablet which - despite needing to be plugged in to run all the time! - opens & runs Firefox perfectly happily. It's my main browser on my MacBook as well, and will run on my iPhone.

My samsung galaxy S5 neo android smartphone 16gb. Is not compatible a enough for me to browse on some of the website links, also is not compatible a enough to download some of the apps on google play store. I am using Samsung S23 with the latest One UI and Android 14. Samsung's built-in browser has a neat feature where you can open YouTube or Reddit links in the apps installed on the device instead of viewing them in the mobile version of the website in the browser. I assume that Firefox has the same functionality called "Open links in apps" in the settings, but I tried all the available options and neither YouTube or Reddit links are automatically opened in their respective apps, nor is there a button anywhere to force them to open in the apps. Am I doing or assuming something wrong, or is this a bug?

Out of nowhere, the browser stopped when I was browsing and the pages started showing slowness. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

I'm so annoyed by these notifications for utterly random websites / "news" that started after a recent update (see attached screenshot). I don't want these, bit also don't want to turn off notifications altogether. Thank you!

I just lost several hundred tabs on Firefox mobile right after it updated itself. The most recent tabs show only ten of those tabs, which were all opened and closed today and aren't part of what I need to restore.

How do I get my tabs back? I've seen no 'restore previous session' option. My laptop only shows the few I have open now. What do I do to restore them?

What is the significance of a different browser when the search engine is Google anyway? And if I use a search engine other than Google, I will lose the benefits of Google Maps, the Google keyboard (for example, entering through a microphone) Basically, Google has a monopoly. Is that so?!

streaming websites taking too much time to open. Example - YouTube, ZEE5, YT music, JioCinema etc. I can login to Netflix and explore everything but I can't play video because of firefox's video player problem. Social media X's video is not auto playing. Usually I do use Max 10 tabs. My phone is at Android 14. I have a better internet so there's no net speed Problem.

When I put a video or an image gallery to full screen, the navigation buttons, clock, and status bar don't hide.

They often appear as though they're going to hide, for a split second, but frustratingly bounce right back into view.

On rare occasions, it seems to be random chance, the status bar, clock, and navigation buttons do hide, but I don't know how to get them to hide every time.

I've already tried disabling picture in picture for the app but that has not helped.

What are the reasons the buttons and clock would not hide in full screen? How would we go about fixing things?

I have had this problem on two separate midrange samsung phones now: after about an hour of browsing, firefox slows down considerably. Pages take a long time to load and tapping input registers erratically, sometimes i tap a link and after a few seconds a different link opens, as though the tap was registered from a different spot on the screen. This is happening even on a brand new phone, and after emptying the cache. I wish I could keep using this app because of privacy concerns but it is genuinely unusable for me now. This problem has cropped up in the past half a year

I'm trying to synch from Laptop Windows to phone android. On screen instructions. Synchronise Firefox on your phone. Open FF on your mobile. Go to menu (3 dots) tap Synchronize and save data. There is nothing on the drop down menu that says this on my phone. I'm logged in on Laptop and Phone to Firefox.

Remove the hackers and make my internet private change my DNS and VPS number or whatever they are doing to my make my google account and business because it's a house and private. Get them no access to my password or phone number

When googling stuff they changed something to where it now opens youtube and autoplays a video when I click on a search result drop-down arrow(image 1). It just it to dropdown to give more info and I could choose to watch the video if I wanted to, like it used to(like image 2). It is getting annoying to switch back to Firefox every other time. For clarification, I don't want to completely disable redirecting but just change it back to how it was. Can't find any setting to change it, does anyone know how to fix this?

My favourite weather app is not working on my phone, but they also have a website, so I decided to use the 'install' option from the menu to install a direct link to the website.

When I use this website in Firefox, the first question I get is my location. When I open the website again this is not asked again.

But when I use the installed link on the homescreen it ask's my location every time, like this is not saved or something like that, a bit the same as 'ingognito mode'.

Is there a possibility that when I used the installed link on my homescreen that it save's my location (history) so that it not asked every time I open it ?
