We have a web site which is working perfect with all other modern browsers except Mozilla's. For this reason we are redirecting the users ,who uses Mozilla browsers, to another page that is saying Mozilla Browsers are not compatible with this web site and please use another browser. But this is not a good user experience and we need help about this problem. The problem is that; on a page there are divs which are hidden by default (with css 'display:none;'),and when a user clicks on a related button, a javascript function named as showhide give response and show the hidden div by making the related div unhidden ( with js command document.getElementById(arguments[0]).style.display = "block";) or on next click ( vice versa with js command document.getElementById(arguments[0]).style.display = "none";) This is working with all other modern browsers except Mozilla's. We tested this situation approximately for 6 months with the most up to date versions of Mozilla but nothing changed. Now we are using version 84.0.2 64 bit but nothing changed. We will be very glad if you can help us about this problem. With our best regards

Within the last few weeks, sometimes when I try to use Firefox, I'm told to reconnect to Firefox. I reconnect by entering my account password, etc., but after I've thus reconnected, my previously saved passwords are gone. I've tried to import them from another browser, but it doesn't import them. The only way that I can proceed is to manually enter my passwords to other sites. Everything is good for a few days, but eventually, I'm asked to reconnect to Firefox, and when I do, my saved passwords are gone. This is so frustrating that I'm about to stop using Firefox. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Thanks.

Hi, It seem that the Firefox.exe was hacked on my PC. Namely, there is no way to get rid of some Turkish webpages like https://www[.]ahaberci[.]com/sifresiz-trabzonspor-konyaspor-canli-izle-bedava-bein-sports-1-canli-yayin-izle-justi-49375h.htm which appear on starting the Firefox. I checked for the malwares the PC with several antivirus software. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it without saving data from the previous versions, with no success. I tried all methods offered by the Firefox Help, but does not work. Please, help me to fix the problem. I am attaching screenshots to illustrate the problem.

Thank you, Katalin

I looked around and couldn't find where to file a complaint, but I've seen that someone else did it here before. If this is the wrong place, please forgive my error and make sure it gets to where it should be.

Although I believe Firefox, as the last mainstream browser not owned or operated by a major tech company, is critical to keeping a more independent web, I'm very frustrated with a 'quirk' in developer mode.

It seems to unpredictably, randomly switch to 'original sources'. Normally it is an annoyance, not a critical issue, but this evening I was working on restyling a page's CSS, had gotten a fair chunk of work done, and of course, hadn't saved my progress. When I selected an element and went to edit it, Firefox pulled up the original source instead of the modified files I had been working on, and then overwrote everything that I had previously changed after I made the edit.

The fact that I didn't save my work is on me and I accept that, but the fact that Firefox decided to switch to the 'original source' instead of the modified files I had been working on without problems for over half an hour, and then offered no way to get back to the modifications I had been making, is not.

After experimentation, the 'original source' checkbox doesn't seem to do anything when I toggle it, which indicates to me that it's either buggy or the interface is not clear about what and where things are being changed. I only remember this becoming a problem relatively recently, so I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt and assume that it's broken, but whether it's a bug or it's intentional behavior, it ought to be changed.

Thanks for your time, attention, and patience.

I want to use HTTPS-Only mode, but Firefox enforces it on my private network as well as the public network. Because I do not have certificates for any of my private network hosts HTTPS-Only mode blocks all internal network traffic. The suggested temporary workaround is impractical. Is there a way for Firefox to check the hosts file for a local name/ip or is there another fix for this?

How do I setup WebVR in Firefox for Oculus Rift with a Radeon Graphics card?

Only info I can find about this is where they explain how to make it work for Oculus Rift with Nvidia's Graphics card. I can't find any mention of AMD's stuff. I have AMD RX 5700.

One of those setup instructions says to download and install Firefox, allow unknown sources in Oculus Home (which I have done). And then it says this: "For PCs (especially laptops) using Nvidia chipsets, there are several methods of enabling the discrete GPU. One way is from the NVIDIA Control Panel: Load 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings tab, and select Mozilla Firefox (firefox.exe) as the program to customize, and select “High-performance NVIDIA processor" as the preferred graphics processor. "

What if I have AMD Graphics? Am I unable to use a VR browser until I get an nvidia graphics card? Why is there no info about this anywhere????

Greetings, I am trying to fill out a PDF form using Firefox's built in PDF viewer and form editor. I'm running Linux (Ubuntu) with Firefox 84. I am able to successfully view and "Open" the PDF within the browser, and even edit the text properly. However, upon saving or printing, the text gets rendered with a massive font size nullifying the ability to edit in browser. I've been trying to find some online resources without success, and can't seem to find others reporting a similar case.

I've disabled all extensions and restarted Firefox, but did not notice any change in behavior. Any tips for debugging? Attached are two pics of the PDF form while editing, and then the rendered PDF after saving.

I am now seeing the new Firefox print screen when I try to print something from a webpage, but there is something critical missing from that screen. What happened to the "Simplify Page" option?? That, to me, was an incredibly valuable option within Firefox, given that I have to do a lot of printing from websites. Is that option now hidden somewhere in the new print screen, or has it been removed? For me, given what I do, that option is something of a deal-breaker. If Firefox has removed it, I may have to begin using a different browser.

I normally choose my download location and if they're zip I'll delete them after extract.

The problem is currently I can't find any way to get where did I put my downloaded files if it's not there.

BUT!!! In order to know the files aren't there, Firefox has to know where did I put them.

I searched the home folder but nothing named `download` is in the folder.

I asked a question for what should I do https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1312757 but doesn't get anything remotely useful.

I have had to replace several computers lately, when I restarted loading software onto them, I encountered a problem. I receive e mails with files attached which are Corel Draw files. When I download them they come out as zip files and create a lot of files on the drive which make no sense and have stuff in the files that don't do anything. I reverted over to a different browser that being Microsoft Edge which I don't like but it downloads the file perfectly with no problems.......I have been a fan of Firefox for many years but recently there have been so many changes and up dates that things have been starting to change way to much.... I did go to the list of things to check and did not find anything relating to this problem.

This question is on behalf of my mother, who has been using firefox for years and has an extensive 'library' of bookmarks and tags and history that she relies on and doesn't want to lose. She either never has had, or has forgotten, a login password, and when prompted to request a new one, it appears that all her existing history would be wiped. How can she ensure that all the painstaking work to create bookmarks and folders and tagged history is not lost? How can she save this data so as to be sure to be able to access it? Thanks in advance for any tips!

Hi !

Ever since I received my bluetooth headphones (ATH-SR50BT), I've had a problem with the sound. Whenever I pause a video or kill the tab it's in (even if the video is not playing) all the sounds of my computer are muted. Simply changing my sound output and going back to my headphone resume the other sounds.

I've tried solutions for Windows and the headphone without success, and then found solutions that appear to work for Chrome (https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/8894867?hl=en&msgid=14396047) and Spotify (https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Windows/Pausing-Spotify-Playback-quot-Mutes-quot-ALL-Audio-Playback-On/m-p/4551102/highlight/true#M64084), hence why I decided to search for a Firefox fix.

Could someone help me ?
