I have had several computers and a phone synced with Firefox. Recently, my mac book had to be wiped and OS reinstalled. Since then I have been unable to sync to my Firefox account on that laptop. I enter my standard email and the same password as on my desktop, but get an error stating, "Incorrect Password".

Following suggestion from an older thread with the same problem, I installed a nightly build on my desktop and tried to log in with that, unsuccessfully. Same problem. I used my same email and same password, but the nightly build version of Firefox reported the error, "Incorrect Password".

While thinking about this, I checked my newish phone and found it was not synced either. Using my email and password, I was unable to get it to sync. However, I was able to sync the phone using the QR code. So my phone is now synced to my Firefox account.

I really want to get the laptop to sync to my Firefox account and am mystified as to how to track down what the problem might be.

None of my bookmark functionality is working. I have restarted Firefox and cleaned out all extensions etc and so doing have discovered it's only when I reinstall Last Pass that the functionality stops.

Is there any known fix for this, or can I simply no longer use both Firefox and Last Pass together?

When I try to download something, i click on the link, the dialog box pops, up, but that's as far as i can go. I can move the box, and close it, but not much else. "Save" is grayed out, I can't select any other folders, nothing.

MacOS Monterrey.

How is this fixed? Uninstall Firefox and reinstall>

what the hell is wrong with firefox windows? /all my extensions are not showing in my toolbar. No themes are showing correctly. Just more problems to work around, as if I have the time, to go along with the "improvements" for my life?

Multiple tabs crash at what seems like around a particular time of the day.

I've tried resistalling macOS (and of course in the process reinstalling Firefox.

After the tabs crash, if I exit Firefox, it crashes on Exit too. I must have submitted crash reports one exit over a dozen times now.

Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to email.wetransfer.com because this website requires a secure connection.

What can you do about it?

email.wetransfer.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

It used to be that, when I minimize a window in Firefox, there would be a Firefox icon for each window in my dock (the row of icons at the bottom of my Mac screen). When I would open Firefox, all windows would show up there; when I'd quit Firefox, the icons for the windows would disappear (leaving only the main icon for the app in my dock).

I just got a new computer (Macbook Air M2, in case that makes any difference) and I can't figure out how to make this work like it used to. Now, when I minimize a window, it just retreats to the main Firefox icon in the dock, and if I want to click on it or any other minimized window again, I need to right click on the icon and select a window from the list there, which really gets in the way of my work flow. I can't figure out how to set it like it used to be. Help!

Bonus question: The other thing I've always wanted to do, that seems like it should be possible but I don't knwo if it is — to name a window. So like, I could have a window named "Travel info" and one named "Project X" etc, so it would show the name I gave the window, rather than whatever tab happens to be currently showing, and I could see at a glance what's in the window. If there's any way to do this I'd love to know.

I am currently running the latest version of Firefox Version 111.0 (64 bit) on an Intel Mac OS machine. Firefox updated automatically per usual but now I am no longer able to drag from my toolbar downloads dropdown to either my desktop or any folder on my Mac. I used to be able to do this and it was apart of my daily workflow. So frustrating that something so small would be removed. I can only drag from my downloads to a new Firefox tab ONLY if hold down option but that is the only place I can drag and drop. Any solution? Please help.

Hi, I am part of IHG development team and we use latest Firefox ESR versions.

w recently started using Softphone with in firefox and we are running in to issues when out Call center agents try to switch between tabs they are accidentally clicking on Mute speaker button on TAB.

Can you please help in providing a solution on how we can remove this ICON from this TABS which are playing some audio.

Hi all! Not sure why but since some weeks ago I cannot use firefox for google meet calls with my Bluetooth headphones. Everything else works fine but the mic just starts to sound weird and people cannot understand me.

I've tried with chrome and safari and the calls seem to work with no issue, it's just with FF.

Anyone else has experienced this? It's pretty uncomfortable to have to open an alternative browser just for calls when I'm using FF as my default for everything.

Firefox on my Mac updated today automatically, and I noticed all my bookmarks are gone. The bookmarks toolbar is there, all of the folders are there, but they are empty. I went to bookmarks - restore and they did not appear after restoring the backup from a month ago. These bookmarks marked several websites I'd collected through years of study. Could someone please help me recover these?

I recently had to have my iMac restored and lost the version of the FireFox that I was using. It opened with the BBC news filling the screen. Is it possible to do this with the latest version? I lost Bookmarks to??

How can I fix this? No idea what it is talking about and can load on Safari fine. I could load www.jimmchughphotographs.com fine on Firefox a little while ago. How can I fix Firefox so that I can log into my account with CareCredit, mysynchrony.com or carecredit.com? I keep getting an error message. I can log in fine using Safari but I prefer Firefox. Thanks.

Please let me know what I can do to make Firefox more functional on my Mac. If I keep having to uninstall and reinstall every few weeks, I'm going to have to use a different browser.
