So, I've been having this issue for sometime now. I went through all the help pages, read through all the different ones on Mozilla support and Adobe's official forums, and I haven't been able to stop it from crashing.
It started around a month ago, and I've just been trying to deal with it, but it has gotten to a ridiculous level of hanging. It almost never crashes, but it hangs indefinitely making me have to end it in the process area of the Windows Task Manager. It hangs when I open a new tab, when I'm mid-video, when I just leave it for too long, and randomly whenever it feels like it. And each time it looks different.

This just started happening yesterday. At first the toolbar was continually showing it working to connect, but all of the weather features worked. Now nothing is displayed and a connection error message appears when my connection is very strong. I tried disabling and re-enabling forecastingfox addon without a change. Please help.
the minimize, maximize and close icons are all blacked out. I'm up to date and have used the refresh feature on the Mozilla site.
When I hover the cursor over the blacked-out area, no text appears, but the icons do still function. Ideas?

WOW long time Mozilla Firefox user, but new update just keeps getting better and better ( NOT!) It took away my icons bookmarks etc, and started giving me forbidden access errors for websites and would not let me open sponsor links in Amazon, and would not let me re- download updated yahoo tool bar, and I could go on and on, but the point is: this was NOT beta version, its the real deal and all it is ends up being more trouble than its worth! WHY oh WHY must Mozilla update and yet make it all worse for it's users? I spent hours trying to find work arounds, etc, and finally have been forced to go back uninstall it and install the Mozilla 35 version that might not be perfect, but it works and so does all my stuff work in it. The other thing, I do the syncing, but that does not help get anything back and I do the mozbackup ( software program) but it would not fix the issues Mozilla firefox 36 has.
So I guess like many others, I will have to wait around till its been out awhile and see if same issues, then go back to 35 if all else fails. This is why I stayed so long on FF 17 or 19 anything to keep from updating, but I know I know, its about security blahblah blah... so i finally break down and update, but always always always to my dismay it takes me hours to get things back or get them right or lose them altogether frankly I wish there would be no final update until testing is really done, i know you can't help what add on's etc we have as there are so many, but beyond those crashes or not working add on situations, there are problems with this update ( and so many of them) so can you please fix them before you put this stuff out there for us to use???

Updating to Sync it says DISCONNECT not Unlink This Device-OK?

There are websites that I can't even access using Firefox. Isn't there some official protocol that you must adhere to? I'm quite tired of the frustrations using what used to be the Finest web browser available.
ad opt out won't work

i have just figured out after searching, that it is not possible to change my email for my firefox sync. it is already a nightmare for me that nokia email provider just simply closes down my account which i use for EVERYTHING in my life... i have somany account to change the email in it, but firefox sync doesn't allow me to do that. i really don't want to lose any details of my mozilla settings, so will it be possible to keep it with a non-existing email? or is there a way to open a new account with a new email and merge my settings to it?

Hi, I got a problem on youtube full screen problem or some other flash player didn't go into full screen. What I meant here is, my problem when clicking the full screen button, the player would also switch my firefox into full screen mode and the video/flash player still bound inside the firefox full screen mode. It's like you switch firefox into full screen mode, then you stretch/zoom the video to fit the whole viewing area.
Is there any way to fix this annoying problem?

In the past week or so, I've been having daily crashes with Firefox 35.0.1 after not having them, at all, for months. It doesn't happen on any particular sight, but it seems to involve how this version renders graphics. Sometimes, I'll be viewing a page and as a scroll down parts of the page black out and/or the graphics at the top repeat unto the bottom of the page as a scroll. Often, I just close out the page and then go back, but that doesn't always fix it. Eventually, the whole page crashes and I get an error asking me if I want to close out of plugin container afte the crash. This has happened while scroll down Flickr and on some newspapers I read online.
Is anyone else having this problem? It seems as if this is a problem with Firefox and not my computer. I've changed nothing on my system, recently, that'd explain this. I have no viruses or malware on my computer. All my plugins are up to date, and I even uninstalled and reinstalled Flash hoping that that would help. Could it be some of the add-ons I have active?

Looking at the first paragraph of text, to the right of the drop cap, you will see that it's been floated right, stretching the page horizontally and bringing the end of each line of text to the edge of the screen.
This happens on several pages on my site, and apparently not to any others. What the affected pages have in common is Arabic in the <h1> element above the first paragraph.
Since Arabic text direction is predominantly R-L, I think the browser is applying that direction to the first paragraph and floating it to the *right*.
I have tried using several recommendations to correct this problem by tightly wrapping the Arabic in a "dir=rtl" span and then escaping by adding a "‎" character immediately following the span. I have also tried backup recommendations offered in case the first ones failed. None of them makes the least bit of difference.
Meanwhile, the page displays properly in Safari 5.1.7.
Is this a Firefox 35.01 bug, or is there something I need to add to my code to get around this?

When I download many files, one after the other, I get to choose where the files will be stored. Normally, the last location is pre-selected, which makes sense when downloading similar files.
However, I have recently experienced that the suggested location is quite arbitrary. The circumstances were like this:
- The target disk is a network drive
- The last file was saved to a location similar to: \\MYBOOKLIVE\Gosta\FolderA\FolderB\FolderC
- FolderB has a large number of subfolders (over 300)
Is this because the network drive may be slow in responding, or because there so many sibling folders? Can you fix the problem? Maybe a buffer size needs to be increased?

This problem started February 2015. I have noticed it mostly while searching ebay. When I hit the back button it did not work. I right clicked the back button and found at least 2 and sometimes up to a dozen duplicate history entries for the current page I am on, meaning I would have to click the back button a dozen times to get to the previous page. I am using Firefox 35.0.1 on a Vista computer. I have not found any fix for the problem after searching the internet for hours. I have seen similar issues with people using IE and some say the duplicate entries are caused by banner ads but still no one has provided a good answer or fix for the problem. Please help.
