I had a laptop Windows 7 laptop that fried itself, a puff of grey smoke came out of the air vent on the side of the laptop and now I have a Windows 10 Pro laptop. I saved the file "Old Firefox Data". Were do I insert these two files (folders) in Firefox to restore it back to it's condition before the new laptop?

Hi - I just reset my PC and trying to restore Firefox. I saved the default release folder (qejikze4.default-release-1669319412153) which contains the latest bookmarks in the "bookmarkbackups" folder. I tried to just replace the bookmark file in the new install (how I previously transfered them), but I can't find the files in the latest V.120 version. Any suggestions on how I can do it?

Thanks guys for screwing up my day with your latest update. I used to be able to download a .pdf and opening it in my ,pdf reader. I NEED to do this for tax reconciliation purposes. Now your crappy program has decided to open .pdfs in itself and I cant get a downloaded copy any more. What the hell was the programmer thinking? Yes I have gone to Applications and checked that it is set to my .pdf reader. Please fix this before I get fined by the tax office.

I need to turn off use Firefox email mask... I can't STAND being prompted to use Firefox email mask but I can't find a way to turn off that prompt.

You somehow have old, outdated information in your system. Your new browser requires me to log into a facebook account I closed 10 years ago. My password for my current account named, "VangiePangie", now opens a closed account named "Evangeline Custis". I no longer have access to my VangiePangie account with any password. So, I no longer want this new upgraded Firefox account. I want to have my old Firefox account as a default on my desktop. Right now it's an icon at the bottom of the screen, and I can only use it to open one thing at a time. Please give me back my old Firefox browser. I'll struggle with Facebook to get my password to work on my VangiePangie account. I have access to the VangiePangie account right now, because it was never logged out in my old Firefox browser and is in my Bookmarks. But if I am forced to log out, or if Facebook does a security check, I won't have access ever again. Please help me with this. Below is my VangiePangie Profile pic.

Hello! I want to remove help-button, password-button, addons-button from the (hamburger) menu of Firefox. To do this, I created a chrome folder in the browser profile, inside which there is a file userChrome.css. Contents of the css file

{ display:none !important; } This css file was removed from the menu: passwords, extensions. How can i remove help button? And second question - how to remove the copy and show password buttons from the passwords tab? Thnx for answers!

Hello, when I open the Firefox browser from my taskbar it does not open as a full browser page as Image 3.

I have to click on the full-screen icon twice to get it open in full screen as in Image 4.

I was working in Firefox, everything was working fine and all of a sudden, by tabs began to crash. I only had 2 tabs open. I opened Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode and still, the tabs crashed. I opened More Troubleshooting Information and tried to Refresh Firefox, but it appeared nothing happened.

I do not want to lose the Bookmarks I have saved!!

I'm trying to configure my router and the instructions tell me to go to https://192.168.1.1. But the security settings will not allow me to get to that (local network) IP address, and ther.is no option to bypass the warning

So my firefox recently started freezing while watching live streams on both youtube and kick. It'll freeze and buffer forever until I either refresh (kick) or hit the grey "live" button on youtube and the whole freezing thing repeats again after 2 minutes. Add-ons and internet speeds attached

Later version refuses to connect to my modem, and goes into security web mode. This modem uses HTTP/HTTPS for access, i.e., connects directly it's IP address, then the user enters a username and password. At that point, the the modem switches to HTTPS for control.

With this recent update, there is NO WAY to access the modem for any work, or upgrade the HTTPS certificate on the modem. This is a BUG.

What should happen is that if the web site will accept a HTTP connection, Firefox should NOT refuse connection or test for security issues UNTIL the user or the device switches to HTTPS.

As an aside, I've used Firefox on this Zywall modem for years until recently.

I am trying to log in to the Tesco retail site, and get this message: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.tesco.com/account/login/en-GB?" on this server. Reference #18.26cc19b8.1700734342.438f9dd8 This is a new problem - it was working fine a week ago, and I have made no intentional changes to the Firefox settings. I went to the Settings: Enhanced Tracking Protection, changed it to Standard, and added the Tesco site as an exception (this was following the advice on some other "Access Denied" posts) but it made no difference - I still can't log in. Everything works fine on Chrome, but I would prefer to keep using Firefox if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks

on some websites it says -1 tells Firefox to automatically determine the size of the cache based on your physical disk and setting it to 0 would effectively disable any disk cache entrys.

so are this informations true and if not, how do i still let firefox automatically determine the size of the cache based on my physical disk?

On https://careers.usmc-mccs.org/psc/hprd/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/HRS_HRAM_FL.HRS_CG_SEARCH_FL.GBL?Page=HRS_CAREERS_FL&Action=U when I log in and go to my page, Firefox will not allow me to scroll and see all of the information whereas Chrome and Edge does. I am not sure if there is a setting incorrect in Firefox or it is blocking an area from scrolling. I added a copy of the screenshots below from Edge and Firefox.

Oddball minor problem I've encountered on a recent update of Firefox, but also I switched keyboards at the same time, so I'm not sure which causing the problem. I'm on a PC, using an MSI keyboard. Ctrl and Shift keys all work, the ONLY combination that doesn't work is (left) Ctrl + (left)Shift + P. Other Ctrl + Shift key combinations work. If I hold the right Ctrl and either shift, P works fine. If I hold the right Ctrl and the right Shift, P works fine. (left) Ctrl + (left)Shift + any other key shortcut in Firefox or elsewhere works, it's ONLY the P shortcut and only in Firefox and only with the left two ctrl+shift combo that doesn't work.

Any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it?
