Once every few days (and now every day) the browser logs out of me from every site/forum where I was logged in and this starts to be really annoying, what can I do?

My Mac iOS updated and erased all my firefox bookmarks. I tried to log in and it created a new account instead of logging in to my firefox account. i need help recovering my saved bookmarks

For the last two days, cnn.com won't load and gives a message that the browser is blocked. Can you explain how I can remedy that? It's a rather popular site, so I assume Firefox will want it to work. All my other sites are working fine, so I'm assuming it some adjustment that cnn made on their end.

Hi, all of my bookmarks, years' worth that I have never had an issue with before, have suddenly disappeared. Backups do not seem to be available. How do I get them back? I did not do anything out of the ordinary and I don't know if (an unasked for) update occurred and wiped them.

I use multi-account containers extensively. Unfortunately, my laptop recently broke so I had to pull out my desktop which was in storage. I hadn't used my desktop in a few years, so I had to update Firefox to make it work.

Then I discovered that the multi-account container feature no longer works. It says it isn't supported in this latest version.

Is there any good way to fix this?

The multi-account container feature was what finally let me switch to the safety and privacy of Firefox. Prior to that, I used Chrome, but the multi-account containers were even better since I didn't have to tie a different account to each container.

It looks like I could roll Firefox back to an earlier version, but that would require creating an entirely new firefox account. It took me a substantial amount of time to get this one set up the way I like. I understand that you all want to protect my data, but frankly I feel like I've been put between a rock and a hard place.

I learned the hard way about a month ago that my main bank will not work with firefox. I've now received notices from two other banks that state they only support safari on Mac. I have run into issues with some others that will either give errors but still allow me to pass through or others that state I have an unsupported browser but still allow me to log into the site - for now.

With this wide a net, this seems to be specific to the security issues in the Mac browser. Is this already being looked into? Is this specific to the new OS and firefox integration?

While I basically trust Safari, I certainly don't want to use it unless I have to and I generally use firefox exclusively on all my Macs and PCs. Can someone shine a light on this? Is there an upgrade or update planned?

I have installed the Firefox browser (latest version) on my MacbookPro and on a MacbookAir. How can I synchronize the bookmarks? Is this possible with iCloud? Thank you!!!

Hello. The Owl Zoom add on for Firefox OSX has stopped working. No changes made to any options or add ons. Date noticed about mid- December 2023. Reverting Firefox to its state from before the issue occurred did not resolve the issue. This process does not work: "Click on 'Settings' and the pop up menu has an item for 'Zoom'. Click on 'Normal 100%' and a pop up list for several zoom values should appear but it does not appear. In addition there is no Owl Zoom icon in the video task bar. This has happened on two iMacs and one Macbook Pro at the same time so not device specific.

So when I installed an update today all of my extensions and add ons were removed and I have a folder on my desktop that apparently has all their data is there any way to restore that data? Or is it just lost in the update?

Hello, some years ago I found how to prevent FF to ask for the master password too often. Obviously, this setting involved the about:config editing. Now, I'd like to reduce this time because I'm requested for the master password only at FF launching and I cannot find the options I changed. I looked for options with the word "expire", but it doesn't seem to affect the situation. What was the option I changed? Or what is it now (in case latest FF versions have different options)? Thanks

Hi, There is very little help if you can still log in in FB and Twitter but you lost all your feed and messages. It happened after refreshing FF. Switched both profiles in about:profiles. Logged out and in in both. All there is left is, check if Java script is enabled. Pretty desperate, but I'll try. So I am looking for my web content. According to this, I have to look for "list all tabs" under the "carrot icon". I can't find it.

All the bookmarks at the top of the Firefox page have suddenly disappeared from view. How do I get them back in view? They are still there if I look under "Bookmarks," but not as accessible.

Running Firefox 108 on Mac OS Mojave, version 10.14.6. I did nt make any recent changes.

I've been noticing a consistent issue specifically with Firefox causing my mac to black screen/shutdown involuntarily.

It happens specifically when I use the zoom-in function on firefox web pages (the pinch zoom).

Other times when it doesn't black screen, firefox would sometimes have this pixelated appearance (basically random squares interspersed around a web page at times) after I try zooming in.

Anything I could do to help prevent this problem?

I would like to be able to control which OS and version is reported by my browser to sites like https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ . I can do about:config but I don't see which setting has that info, to change it. I also see a User Agent Switcher extension, but it doesn't let you set the version of the OS. https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ clearly shows my OS and version, so I know it's there somewhere. How do I change it?

Have not been able to log on to a few sites (all financial base: bank etc) since approx April 2023 Have done all the dirty dozen: cache/update FF/reset/ disabled ad blocks etc.) and still no luck: had to revert back (after about 10 years) to safari (ugh) scoured back in archives for similar problems but found no answer. Does anyone have any idea? (i have not upgraded my mac os 10.14.06 and require itunes to remain) Thanks
