Hello,

In the past, FF downloaded documents without opening them in the browser. This is two weeks now that whenever I download a document, FF is now opening the document in the browser without asking me.

I welcome if someone could tell me what I can do to stop FF from opening the documents.

Tenho o Win 11 23H2 com Firefox 124.0.1 instalado. Há meses , devo usar o Avast Browser para acessar o Amazon.com.br ou qualquer site do gov.br. Já desinstalei tudo e reinstalei do zero , sem extensões , mas o problema continua. Alguém sabe me ajudar? Desde já agradeço.

On Firefox 124.0.2 (on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS), when I click a download link on a web page, Firefox doesn't download the file. I tried disabling all add-ons, but that did nothing. However, I found that when I deselect "Ask you where to save the files" in the browser's Settings and then click the link, it downloads the file to my Downloads folder. Can someone please point me in the right direction to find a solution for this?

Hi, I can't change the default hover color of buttons in the navigation bar. It either remains totally unaffected or there appears a larger background image of my color overlaid with the smaller default hover image. Hover on the bookmarks toolbar works fine, except for the "Show more bookmarks" chevron, which behaves exactly like a navigation bar button. I tried these:

1. nav-bar toolbarbutton:hover,
2. nav-bar toolbarbutton:hover:active,
3. nav-bar toolbarbutton-icon:hover,
4. nav-bar .toolbarbutton-icon:hover, #nav-bar.browser-toolbar hbox#nav-bar-customization-target.customization-target toolbarbutton:hover,

Hi friends. We have had some recent power outages when everything was back up running my youtube screen only shows the video but everything else is white. I will try to attach a screenshot.

I am running an iMac with system Sonoma 14.4.1 installed.

I have used Firefox for over 10 years with no problems.

How to reach a site used in the past (whether typed URL or used saved Bookmark!) ---but now Firefox won't let me access now, please?! I have some sites for decorating my online gaming site. Your settings warn me that the site isn't ---https://. --- which I realize, and FIREFOX stops me from going to the site. How do I temporarily use a site, then restore the security? I appreciate how FIREFOX keeps us safe! TY!

Firefox keep crashing when I use certain websites (realtor.com is one that comes to mind). I use a Macbook pro. I've updated my operating system, updated Firefox, and tried to use Firefox in troubleshooting mode. Everything is up to date, and the crashes still happen in troubleshooting mode. How do I add and keep the Gramerly extension in Firefox browser? I have added it many times but it often just disappears for some reason. I'm sure this happens just to piss me off, but perhaps there is a way I can get it going again. Please advise. Thank you!

Yesterday, I was invited to update Firefox on my desk-top PC running Windows 10. When I did, all of my open tabs were absent from the new version. Luckily the old version was still open with my open tabs. Today, my old version opened again with the open tabs and a window that said the automatic updated didn't happen. It invited me to update again. I clicked on "More information" and it went to an error message. My question is, how do I save all of my open tabs when I update Firefox?

As you can see here, despite me setting custom colors and checking every setting i could find, i can't seem to find what will turn this white color to grey or black,

does anyone know how to fix this?

I would like to develop an application that runs continuously, say, at a panel found in a kiosk. I am considering designing it as a webpage that runs locally through the browser but I would like to prevent the users from interacting with the OS or closing the tab and the browser. Is there a way to lock Firefox in full screen and hide the exit buttons? Alternatively, do you have another recommendation for development that is more appropriate, for instance a native app?

Hello, Firefox keeps signing me out of Google websites like google.com and youtube.com when I close out the browser. I recently switched from Google Chrome and was wondering if this was a Google issue or if it was Firefox. It only keeps me signed out of Google accounts, and keeps me signed in for every other website. I have the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" box unchecked and it still keeps me logged out, and I have "cookied" unboxed in my Clear History settings as well. I'd like to have this issue fixed as soon as possible for school-related reasons.

So, I tried to download a video from my YouTube Premium Account. According to the youtube webpage, that video was downloaded to my iMac. My FF 124.0.1 settings are set up to download to the Desktop. I am running Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1

Yet the file is not there. I tried searching on the Support page for FF. Lots of articles but no real help. Tons of info about how to tweak the download but Nothing about Where that download ended up. I did give Permission in Settings for youtube.com to download to my iMac, but again, I can't find the file. In the Storage section, it shows 37.5 MB, so it should be on my iMac, right?

How is it possible for youtube.com to show that I downloaded the file but I can't find it?

I am totally at a loss. Never had anything like this happen before. Prior downloads have Always shown up on the Desktop.

I have used Firefox as my browser for many years and lately my emails won't open or if they do it is very slow sometimes and won't allow me to delete emails. Not sure why this is happening and I asked by email provider and they told me to follow some instructions about fining the menu button of Firefox which I couldn't find then he gave me a link and I tried to follow but was unable to make any progress. I use spectrum email services
