This spring, I noticed I couldn't use Firefox with OpenSRS... my controls inside the portal don't work in FF anymore. Today, I see my controls don't work in SiteGround, and that's my livelihood and how I manage sites. What gives? These changes drive me to Chrome, where the sites function. I want to be loyal to Firefox, but these problems drive me away from it in frustration. Sincerely, morganamaine16

I use mozilla for years, and now I had to reset my PC reinstall windows, and after that I changed pass for mozilla acc and I lost all my data, please help. I have instaled mozilla on android phone, but I lost it on one trip, and I'm expecting that returns to me, but I don't now when. So right now, I can't access to Mozilla acc and sinc date from other devices, but I will be able. Is there possibility to compare mac addresses from now and hours a go, so that I can have my data. Whenever I attempt to enter my bank account (Maine) I receive a "security message" and when I click to have my phone contacted in order to receive a pass code, the phone NO LONGER rings like it used to.

What is the problem?

I now have to use Microsoft Edge in order to get into my bank account.

Im using Firefox desktop version 113 with win 7 Browser will not save logins or passwords either saved by me manually or by importing from chrome.

Below you will see the screen from my settings after saving. Strangely, I do get the prompt to save them. See other image below.

I do not want to use sync. I only want firefox to store this locally as the earlier versions did without any issues.

Hi, since v.112 the firefox sometimes asks the primary password, seemingly for no reason. There are no stored passwords on the concerned pages, and it asks not on the page opening, but after many seconds or minutes. It occurs me on various OS's and machines, but mostly with the same add-ons. Have you ever heard of such a problem? Or is it a new "service" of the firefox or same add-on? Regards: mzee

I am having problems with my Google Gmail. It won't load properly in Firefox (I have no problem in other browsers) and now I can't access YouTube. I'm having to delete my history continually and restart the Firefox. What's going on? I do have the current version of Firefox installed.

It happened for the first time a few months ago, now it has to be repeated several times in a row, now this error appears one after another,after i deleted the history,then again and again

I'm unable to access a website on Firefox DDG but I can on Google. Somehow I got to a page somewhere that says "Element.releaseCapture() is deprecated. Use Element.releasePointerCapture() instead. For more help https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Web/API/Element/releasePointerCapture menupopup.js:160:13". I'm guessing this is telling me the website address is incorrect. I don't know how to find a different "pointer" nor do I know how to enter the correct pointer into a phrase I can't find. Can someone please tell me what to do? Thanks.

Videos on Firefox like YouTube videos and others look washed out like they've been put through a filter. When I play the page through safe mode it solves the problem. However disabling all my plugins, themes and extensions makes no difference at all! What other options do i have. I have deleted the app from my pc and reloaded twice and that hasn't changed anything.

The same laptop, with the same firefox (113.0.1 snap) at work works fine... and at home it has an exhasperating lag.

It happens to me with all the computers at home (with ubuntu, linux mint...) but (and here comes what kills me) if I browse with Chromium, everything flies.

I've tried by wifi against an access point that acts as a repeater, direct against the router and wired to the router and the result is always the same: Firefox slow as the bad guy's horse... and Chrome light as a cloud.

I have disabled all plugins, browsed in anonymous mode, reset firefox... and no way... every time it loads a page it takes 5 to 20 seconds of blank page.

I am a firefox user since its tender beginnings, but this lag is going to give me an ulcer and I am militant, but health comes first.

When I use CTRL+V or even right-click to paste any text, Firefox crashes and displays an error. My Firefox version is the latest, 113.0.1. I tried entering safe mode and disabling all plugins, but the error still occurs. I also tried reinstalling Firefox, but the issue persists. However, other browsers work fine. I am trying to understand if there is a way to customize the tab rearranging behaviour.

In particular, the thing I find very unpractical is that, after a tab is closed, the others do rearrange, but after the mouse goes out of the tab bar. This is particularly annoying when I have to close multiple tabs, since thanks to this behaviour, the tabs which I close after the first one are always the unintended ones.

The solution would be to let the tab rearrangement happen instantly after the closure of the tab. In my opinion even without animations, I do not really care about that.

If you have any suggestions let me know.

So my FF interface language is German but I do write a lot off stuff in English so I installed a bilingual dictionary. I have no clue how to enable it though. In "languages" the default German language is enabled. In "dictionaries" my new dict is enabled. When I right click underlined text in English it offers me either German OR English but not the bilingual dictionary. When I click "add dictionary" I get to the page where I found that bilingual dictionary in the first place. This is very confusing behavior.

I tried to change the download folder for Firefox inside "settings", and Firefox showed that the change did take, even after opening and closing the program again, but trying to download a file leaves me in the old folder again, as if Firefox didn't take what it showed it took. Also, Firefox keeps crashing when I try to download to the downloads folder. Not sure why. Clearing a few items lets me download again, but then, it will crash if I dare keep going. Is there a limit to how much can be in the downloads folder aside from the C drive itself? My C drive is showing 84GB free, in the blue, not red, so what gives?

I am having trouble deleting Folders in Bookmarks Manager. When I search I get untold # of links, many of which do NOT relate to the topic. I'm sure the answer is somewhere but I can't find it. Can someone point me to the info?

Is there a way to refine the results from a large list? I'm a retired librarian so I have a lot of experience searching.

I am wondering if there is a way to get a menu of bookmarks to show up in the context menu when you right-click within a webpage in Firefox.

and I am wondering if there is a native way to achieve the same thing in Firefox? And if not, perhaps an extension? I've searched for extensions like this but haven't found any.
