Previously access was denied 2 log in 2 xfinity on Firefox browser. Reply 2 post gave me a different log in . It worked. After I got email from u "Your Firefox account was used to sign in Chrome on Windows 10 Boardman, OR, United States (estimated) IP address: 52.32.111.255 Wednesday, Dec 14, 2022 2:52:14 PM (PST)". This isn't me, but I logged in at the same time. Did Firefox mistake my log in? When I attempted 2 change my password, it wanted 2change the password 4the spammer. I couldn't change MY password. I didn't use Chrome, I don't have Windows 10. I have Windows 11 and I am not near Boardman OR.

Firefox quit and I restarted the application with all previous browsing tabs. Unfortunately, for some reason, all of my bookmarks (50+) are gone and I cannot find a way to get them back. I do not think I am usually signed into a Firefox account.

Please any help would be much appreciated. I do not recall all the things I've bookmarked.

I'm running 64 bit Win 11 Pro Version 21H2 OS Build 22000.1219 and Firefox 107.0, and the first time I click to open Firefox, I receive message "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item". If I clear the error box and click again, Firefox comes up normally. This happens every time I bring up Firefox. It's not a show-stopper, but very annoying.

What prevents these sites from seeing my Username and Password. I do not save them but retype info every time I access them. Have changed my cookie setting to only block 3rd party but that did not help.

Please help me get my bookmarks back. I've tried all of the suggestions that I understand. There's one that says to go select a file, but it doesn't say where the file is ...

This is my work computer, I need my bookmarks and login information.

I've started getting pop up ads and articles to read (ads I think). How do I stop this ? Very anoying. FYI-I have and I-Mac and am not tech savy. Please help.

I'm running ArchLinux with Xfce 4.16.

One of the lastest firefox updates has broken it on my system. It keeps crashing at random times, most of the time when I do some action, maybe press a button on a website, maybe open a new window, maybe select some text on a website... It doesn't occur always, most of the time things work fine, but, at some point, I perform an action that has worked fine the last few times, and it hangs the browser.

The easiest way I found to replicate it is by opening and closing the Downloads window. Around 15% of the times I open it, the browser stops responding completely.

I'm not sure which firefox version introduced the bug because I don't update the system so often. My last pacman updates where January-2022 and November-2022. The version from January-2022 worked fine but since the November-2022 update I've been experiencing this problem.

I've created a new profile, disabled hardware acceleration but the problem persist. I'm also not using any kind of proxy, its a clean profile.

Running it from the console only shows one message at startup, but nothing when the browser hangs.

This is the message shown at startup:

But the browser can be working for half an hour after it with no problems.

I've been using an Ironclaw rgb for over a year now but recently switched to an old backup hp mouse since I forgot to charge the ironclaw. Ever since then my cursor would only work in firefox, even though I could still alt tab to other apps, when I tried to click them it just clicked whatever was behind it on firefox. I already switched back to my main mouse and it's only gotten worse, as now it gets stuck whenever i plug in/out the mouse, even after restarting. I've had to restart multiple times since that fixes it for a short while but then it gets stuck again.

I am using Virb Edit 5.4.3 ( on a Windows PC) (It works fine on my Apple laptop.) and when I import GPX Metrix I get a message stating "you are using a browser that is not supported by the Google Maps JavaScript API. Being an old geezer of 75, I have no idea what that means. Is there a setting in Firefox that I can change to fix that or what? Appreciate the help. Thanks, Robin T. I have no problem with anything with Firefox browser for many years until I just installed AVG Internet Security 2022 last 2 weeks ago into my PC Desktop with Win 10. Everything is fine but I have a little problem with Firefox browser 107 with Google search engine. It only once Google page and then it wont let me click anything on with each links and just pause same page. I called AVG and they said dont know why. When I turn AVG off and it works normal fine with Google page. Other Chrome browser works fine with AVG on . I can click any website thru Firefox browser except Google page. It something with Firefox on Google page is only problem issues. Please help. Sorry I am not good English grammar.

When site asks for verification code - I copy it from email into web site. The code is not recognized. Does Firefox keep changing my computer's address? Using Win 10. I have uninstalled/reinstalled FF several times. System keeps crashing. What's happening Me novice, 78yrs old etc.
