Trying to bookmark a pdf, it's on the same location across my devices, but my devices have different usernames, so I added "%userprofile%" to the filepath so that it opens on any device. The issue is that when I enter this into the Bookmark URL bar, it automatically sticks "25" next to the % characters, which makes the bookmark unusable.

"C:\Users\%userprofile%\Documents\example.pdf" automatically becomes "file:///C:/Users/%25userprofile%25/Documents/example.pdf"

Also, as I just discovered now when I pasted this URL into this post, a second "25" is inserted, becoming: "file:///C:/Users/%2525userprofile%2525/Documents/example.pdf"

Dear Sir I had been watched youtube many years, but a few years back then it kept signed me out, and I have had to sign in again every time. It's annoying and rather fed up too. would you help and give me advice how can I stay sign in once and for all. Thank you. Regards. Louise

Firefox keeps loading old redundant website, even after deleting all temp files, Firefox browser history and otehr settings in Firefox. Other browsers on my PC works correctly. How do I fix Firefox?

About every month or so Firefox decides to delete my login info and i have to relog everywhere again.

While this is not a critical issue, its a very annoying one.

My cookie settings are on standard, and the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" square is unticked. I use Dashlane for my passwords but ive used it for a long time before on mozilla and other browsers and i've never had issues with it.

Gentlemen, I try with Firefox to open cosmote.gr which is the main Greek telecommunications company and it gives an error www.cosmote.gr. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. and it won't open no matter what i tried. Please instructions.

I had an issue with Macbook Pro. Apple support had to wipe and reinstall hard drive. Firefox is my default browser and I was signed in. When we reinstalled Firefox on my new hard drive, I signed in and there's nothing there -- no booksmarks, history toolbar, etc.

Can i still get back that information?

I am about to drop Firefox for another browser. I have added Total AdBlocker yet popups still creep through. Now with MSN.com my home page, some of the Video Boxes are blank but if I go to Chrome they show complete.

he method for updating manual proxy settings is new to me, admittedly, but with even a tiny bit of research it seems super accessible and straightforward. I am a Ipvanish user who is a little disenchanted with their extension on Firefox, and simply want to use a manual proxy to browse instead.

When updating my proxy settings, I do what every YouTube or WikiHow article would tell you, and I search for the best available Ipvanish server for my region, copy the link directly, apply it to the manual proxy setting, set all proxies to this same link, and set the port to 80.

However, instead of prompting me for a login/password after closing and reopening the browser, every single page instead goes through a connection timeout and ultimately fails to load altogether.

Has anyone else experienced this and discovered a fix? Or can you perhaps guide me through a mistake I am making, perhaps in my process or a setting which I overlooked?

Recently purchased a Rosetta Stone language program and the initial instructions from Rosetta indicate that I must grant permission for microphone usage. RS refers me to Firefox/Mozilla help. I have followed the instructions as i understand them with no success-not able to grant permission while using the RS program. the program is running on Windows 10

Since latest FireFox update, when I access articles from my MSN homepage, the articles look like they've been moved to the right (text used to be 1/2-1" from screen edge, now 2") and now the right panel covers some of the article's text. This makes it very difficult to read the articles. Please fix.

Webmail for Gandi.net is failing to load in 107.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10 today. No luck in Private window nor Troubleshoot Mode. It is loading in chrome and edge browsers.

Hi... I have just updated my Firefox browser to 107.0.1 (64 Bit) and i now find i have this box Developer Tool Error at the bottom of the page just above the taskbar. I also have a transparent red film comes over the whole screen. The screen also jumps when trying to do a search on the website. If i try this on Opera ,MS Explorer or Edge this does not happen. I have deleted the whole Fire Fox program and reinstalled it but no difference. Please understand i am a senior and my knowledge is limited so i hope this info is enough. Thank you in-advance. Why i am suddenly getting Google log-in requests when I first open some websites in my Firefox browser on Mac OS Monterey? This was not happening before; it has started in the past couple of weeks and is extremely annoying. I do everything possible to stop providing Google with any information about me. One of the ways I thought I was doing that was by using the Firefox browser. But apparently not, since Google is able to infiltrate the browser and ask for a sign-in. It is not possible that Google is doing this without Firefox/Mozilla awareness of it.
