When I access bookmarks using the manager/editor I see all bookmarks. However when I try to use bookmarks from the dropdown in the toolbar, I only see some bookmarks. I think it's the newer bookmarks that are missing but not certain.

Firefox quit and I restarted the application with all previous browsing tabs. Unfortunately, for some reason, all of my bookmarks (50+) are gone and I cannot find a way to get them back. I do not think I am usually signed into a Firefox account.

I have a new computer and I signed in using my Firefox account in order to import my bookmarks. They did not all show up so I added bookmarks as I went along. The problem is that my bookmarks name are correct but when I click on them, it takes me to a different website, and not necessarily one I have saved. Under ma bank's bookmark for example, when I click on it, it takes me to a Government page that I visited a few days ago (but did not save as a bookmark). I have already reset the names for all by bookmarks, but this problem keeps occurring. If anyone could help me sort this out, I would be grateful. Thanks and regards K

Most of my bookmarks gone, in the sense, that they DON'T lead to the place listed, but to another place. For example, the link says "Health Hub", but logo is for Wells Fargo and the link is for that. Another one states, Austin Telco Federal Credit Union, and the link is to my home webmail.

I reset my Mac and thought Firefox would keep all my bookmarks for when I would reinstall Firefox and synchronize all my bookmarks, like I always did. It was not necessary to export and to keep them, because I have never had problems before and I trusted Firefox.
Now this did not happen and I lost if not thousands of my bookmarks I have gather in years... I'm very disappointed, for the first time.
Do you have a cache or something or other solution so I can get my bookmarks back? Thanks.

How can I copy all of my Bookmarks from a hard drive which crashed, and is no longer bootable? While I can no longer boot from the drive, I can still access all of my files using another computer, and attaching the un-bootable drive with an external docking device. Is there a file where the bookmarks exist on my old drive; that I can copy and paste to the new Firefox I will be loading? If yes; will I have to do this to a new setup on my old computer first, or can I just do this onto the new computer I'm getting ready to purchase? I was running the latest version of Firefox on Windows 7 Pro. My old computer was running Windows 7 Pro. The new computer I will soon be purchasing will have an i9 processor, and will be running Windows 11. I am currently using a computer at my local library to send this message. Started my computer this morning and tried to use Firefox and it froze. So bad that I had to restart my computer. I re-installed Firefox but it deleted my bookmarks. What do I have to do to get them back? Fortunately I did a backup on my computer before re-installing Firefox. Is there some other way to get them back other than to restore the backup? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I just wish I wasn't such a Luddite when it comes to computers.
